Really accommodating hosts. They did everything to make sure our stay was trouble-free. The garden is very private and the hot tub was great. Comfortable home in a good location, with supermarkets in walking distance.

We stayed at the house for 4 days in January as a group of 7 with 3 children. From the minute we booked Diane couldn't have been more helpful. Diane, her husband and Emma the housekeeper all welcomed us on arrival and showed us around the house. We had the most amazing stay, the house has everything one needs and more. It was spotless , the kitchen was well equipped and the beds very comfortable. The locals were very welcoming and friendly and everything we needed was close by. None of us wanted to leave. We hope to stay again in the future, do not hesitate to book.

Great area for exploring south wales. The house was beautifully decorated for Christmas. So lovely, cosy and clean . The hot tub and play park for the kids was an additional bonus. Beds were comfy and It had everything you need. The owners and House keeping lady were really helpful when we had any questions. Perfect get away and we would definatley return.

Absolutely amazing! Right from the start, good communication, I asked quite a few questions and they got answered. Emma, the house keeper went over and above for us. She was great. She got us biscuits and milk for when we arrived, she put the heating on ready for us. The house itself wa perfect. It made our stay the best. Hot tub was great and the open fire was even better. Can not fault this stay at all. Perfect location. We can’t wait to come back. Thank you Emma for everything. See you again soon x

Family getaway

Lovely house to stay for a big family , everything you need in the property and more . Great outdoor area for relaxing and for little ones to play . Area good and quiet not far from the town and shops and there are takeaways across the road . Within easy reach of many holiday favourites beaches , parks , castles etc there is great selection of leaflets for ideas . We would return in the future . Thank you Diane for hosting us .

Beautiful place

Everything was perfect from beginning where we had everything explained by lovely host until the very last day. We enjoyed spending time in the cottage and will highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a nice place to stay in Brecon Beacons area. Great base for exploring, but same time it feels like home. It was 7 of us all together and we had more than enough space. Hot tub and big outdoor play area is a big bonus. Lovely, lovely place. Highly recommended x

Lovely cottage with close access to all the main sight seeing spots

Lovely cottage well equipped with all amenities you need for a home away from home . The guest was very proactive and comms were brilliant prior to our arrival and during our stay. The cottage is located close to the major sight seeing spots all within 30 min driving distance - four falls trek , Cardiff , caves etc . Nice hot tub to top off the lovely stay :)

Great little break

Great service from the landlady, she was very warm, welcoming and lovely, made sure we had milk, tea and coffees upon arrival. The house had plenty of activities and games for adults and kids and the kids park is bigger than the picture shows, in fact the garden in general was a very generous space with all you would need including a top notch Hot tub. There isn't on site parking but there is free street parking litterally across the road 5 seconds from the front gate which we never struggled to find a space in. Overall I thought this place was perfect for what we needed (family break with kids) for its closeness to local amenities and natural parks and I would recommend and come back again. If we were to be overly critical (and not to take anything away from a great stay), I would say that the bed in the masters was very very noisy, im a light sleeper see.. So any slight bit of movement and the bed squeals. My wife slept through so can't be that bad I suppose? Many thanks for having us.

Great property for family gathering

This property is a bit of a tardis, larger on the inside. Great courtyard garden with seating and hot tub. Bedrooms spacious and over 2 floors. Lovely bathrooms. We were on the top floor and there was a bit of noise from the road and village hall but still slept ok. Well placed for zip world, Caerphilly and the coast. We had a great stay.

We stayed here with another 3 friends. On arrival we were met by Di & Bill. Great hosts and very friendly and approachable. Loads of information about places to visit etc. Very clean and tidy and the hot tub was a bonus. Beds were really comfy. Locals were very friendly. Would definitely go back.

Family holiday

Fabulous !!! Our stay at 266 was great from start to finish. The property had plenty of space and a well thought out garden area particularly the hot tub. The hosts Diane and Bill met us at the property and were lovely people. Would definitely recommend and would have no hesitation in revisiting.
