Only 10 mins walk to a beautiful beach and 6 mins walk to train station - then 10 minutes train journey to Barmouth which is a lot quicker than the drive around the estuary. "We had a great time at this property. The five properties gave us space to be together and still have our own space to retreat to when needed. It was a very wet weekend in Wales but we made the most of it. "This property was excellent. Spotlessly clean and comfortable. Only slight issue is that it might be advantageous to have somewhere to place keys if early check out required before office is open. "We had a fabulous week here in September, much helped by superb weather. Its impossible to review the cottage without mentioning the wonderful view across the river towards Cader Idris through the huge living room window. Our dog spent a lot of time gazing out of it at the sheep. The accommodation feels very spacious, you have all you need and bed was extremely comfortable. "Swift and easy check-in. The family room had two bedrooms which was a very pleasant surprise. Everything was spotlessly clean and the beds were very comfortable. Could have done with a rubber bath mat but found out later we could have asked for one. Similarly de-caff tea and coffee I guess.
