Fantastic stay in a picturesque cottage
We stayed here for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage was located on the side of a remote valley, with a great view of the vibrant autumn colours. The cottage was clean, fully equipped and beautiful inside and out. Great place to stay if you're looking for a secluded getaway and to explore the outdoors.

Lovely Location
This cottage is in a superb location with a lovely garden and in its hey day would have been superb but it is lacking maintenance and this could probably have been over looked had the cottage been clean. The bedding and towels were lovely and clean but there was cobwebs everywhere, some with dead spiders and flies that had obviously been there a long time, the kitchen cupboards had runs all down the front of them and the floor had spills on it, this is the dirtiest cottage we have ever stayed in and we have stayed in dozens, it took the shine off our arrival, I got the hoover out and got ride of the cobwebs, wiped the units and the cistern as it was covered in dust, this is really not what you expect. Once a bit cleaner we made the most of the lovely location, the cottage had everything required for a break away and only the maintenance and cleanliness let it down. These are issues that can be address to make it a first class holiday home

Quiet getaway
Lovely, clean cottage which myself and our dogs loved. Brilliant garden filled with wildlife such as birds, bats and even had a deer! Lovely quiet location and a short drive to the nearest towns and walks.

Highland break
Very peaceful location. Comfortable bed , so slept very well. Internet was initially showing a fault but that was quickly resolved . Very slow so do your planning for days out as there was no information pack . We still managed some good walks and the scenery is fabulous. Sofa & chair comfortable but a bit grubby. All in all a nice property just needs a bit of T l C.

Short Stay
We had a peaceful time in Burn Cottage. The cottage was off the beaten track but you did have neighbours, although you never heard or saw anyone. The cottage was charming with a burn running through the garden. It was very clean, comfortable and everything you needed for your stay was available. There was plenty to see and do in the area within a short drive, Crannog Centre, Menzies castle, Pitlochry and Blair Athol. The highlight of our stay was a fawn walking over the garden at dusk to eat the freshly cut grass. He was there for 15-20 mins.

relaxed Holiday
We really enjoyed our 14 days at Burns Cottage. The location is perfect for trips in all directions, Loch's, coast, Highlands, towns. Everything worked perfectly and the peace and quiet is heavenly. Thank you very much and we will definitely be back. Peter & Claudia P.S. The local internet unfortunately only worked for 1 day, but no problem, there is good 4G LTE coverage here.

Wonderful quiet cottage
So peaceful. Ideal for two people. Garden for summer breakfast and dinners as well as good size lounge diner kitchen area. Note, Take your own drinking water. Wonderful area for walking and cycling.

Absolutely stunning.
Our stay was lovely and was perfect for our break and for my dog. Good value for money and everything was thought of from leaving milk in fridge when we arrived to ice in freezer. The bed was also very comfortable and i always find this hard to come by. We could even wat h the sky at night with the amount of sky lights there. Looking forward to going back again sometime.

A quiet, secluded get away
Excellent location, feels nice and private, clean cottage with most the amenities you need. Wifi is not good, and I no longer have DVD's was hoping to stream a romcom, only slight negative, had to resort to talking to the wife, which may be the point :) I would recommend to any couple and I plan to return. Great

Cosy break with the dog
Beautiful well located property for lovely walks in the glen, deer stalking and snuggles by the fire. Very dog friendly and a great hotel in walking distance for an evening drink and some live music Friday nights. So many places to visit within driving distance and great local pubs and restaurants. Check in was faultless with an option of tea or a wee dram on arrival really nice touch. We would definitely go back.

Pretty cottage
The cottage was well decorated in a modern style. Very comfortable apart from the settee which is a bit lumpy and tired. The location is great, secluded and peaceful. The garden is pretty and well looked after. One area that should be improved is there are no instructions concerning rubbish, recycling or heating (it was very wet and rather cool outside so we wanted the heating on for a short time). We figured it out.
