Very Cozy!
Although we didn't have much time to spend there, The Merch Perch had everything we needed! Our stay was short, but very comfortable! Check in was a breeze and communication was great! If we are ever back in the area, this will be the first place we look back on!

Beautiful House
We had a lovely stay and it was a perfect location and close to ACU. The house is beautiful and unique and we were happy to have so much space. We will definitely stay here again.

Great Place to Stay!
We have stayed at this location multiple times now and it never fails to be a great time!! Great location for our activities, great atmosphere of the house and the owners are incredibly friendly and responsive! We plan on staying here, availability considered, everytime we find ourselves in Abilene!! Could not have been happier.

Loved it!
We booked this house last minute instead of a hotel during our daughter’s volleyball tournament weekend in Abilene. We were so glad we did!! When we first started getting into the neighborhood , it was kinda iffy!!😆 but the house ended up being great!! beautifully antique looking decor! Plenty of space ! Kitchen was stocked, even with coffee pods & creamer! The coffee pot worked really slow though , and had to use multiple pods. It probably just needs a good cleaning! This house would even be perfect for baby showers , bachelorette party , etc! Beds were comfortable, and plenty of extra linens! My kids loved the pull out bean bag as well, they are now asking for me to buy one! The bathroom downstairs could use some curtains, I didn’t want my kids using it due to being able to see in from outside! There is an apartment right beside with a man staying there. One of the upstairs bathroom doors lock needs to be fixed as well. Overall, this place reminded me of a cute bed & breakfast , and I would definitely stay here again! Oh and the hosts would respond almost instantly!! Book it , you won’t be disappointed!

Adorable house!
This house is so precious and the attention to detail was very evident. The hosts were incredible communicators - it was so easy to get questions answered immediately. We even asked if we could change out an air filter (we all have bad allergies) and the host offered to have someone come out immediately. We ended up just changing it ourselves because it was so simple but the effort/offer was not lost on us. With this house being so old, it was difficult to get BOTH the upstairs and downstairs temperatures to be comfortable simultaneously. Because of this, we had to run the window units upstairs and they messed with our allergies, but this is just our families experience.

Golf weekend and time to relax
This is a fantastic property. It was close to Dyess AFB which is where we golfed and the other purpose for our long weekend getaway was to relax. This house was perfect for us!

Perfect and pretty little home!
This is a beautiful and spacious home. Lots of different places to visit and connect with family and friends huge kitchen with tons of counter space to host, meals or potlucks huge backyard. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting in the breezeway under the cover can’t say enough about the host who was so communicative and nice, I am the kind of guest who brings their own Clorox wipes, /soaps, etc to any kind of rental. And I usually end up cleaning things like door handles, buttons, drawer pulls, remotes, etc. but this home was so clean even the baseboards were slick and span, no dust anywhere! I honestly cannot say enough about the wonderful condition of the property and the helpfulness of the owners will absolutely be staying again!

Inside was GREAT!
First impressions are very important. When we drove up, the yard had not been mowed in a very long time. I was disappointed. Then we went in and it was decorated very well. Bed was comfortable. Kitchen was fully equipped. We overall enjoyed the stay.

Great, comfortable home
My son and I booked a hunting trip in nearby Anson/Hamlin. Since there’s no decent places to stay there, we decided to book a home in Abilene. The house is exactly as advertised. It’s clean, comfortable, with great air conditioning. We weren’t there too often, mostly at nights end, and during the day between hunts, but while we were there, I had no complaints. Babyshower
This was such an AMAZING place to have my daughters babyshower. Or just an AMAZING PLACE period. It was so very peaceful, beautifully decorated/designed and very well kept. Our host was super helpful and very accommodating. Very much enjoyed everything about this stay/property. Will be visiting again!!!!!
