"The owners keep this place well stocked with stuff you might need. Bandaids! Bug spray! Tons of towels and wash rags. Dish soap. Paper towel. I even saw a spare phone charger and cord! We did this vs a hotel while visiting family in town. One night we hosted a bbq and cooked burgers and dogs. The grill, the picnic table, the comfy Adirondack chairs, and the extra folding chairs came in real handy that night. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking! "

"We spent four wonderful day on this lovely property. Spent every night around the fire and got better quality time than we had in years. The only complaint I have is that it was too short lived. I would definitely recommend this cabin to people looking for a wonderful experience or just a bit of peace and quiet. Great experience all around."

"My husband and I, along with our Aussies spent 3 days at this cabin surrounded by 300 acres, with hiking trails, ponds, and wild life, during late Oct. The views of the property were beautiful with all the Fall colors. If you have the energy, be sure to hike up the hill to the cow pasture. It is about 1 mile round trip. "Joe’s place was just what we needed for a relaxing weekend away from home. We stayed in one of the yurts for the first two nights and a cabin on the last night we were there. Both were beautiful and had all the necessities we needed, however we LOVED the cabin as it had a little more privacy. "The home and linens were clean, plenty of living space. The house is like walking into a time capsule of your grandmothers home. Very small bathrooms, drafty window AC units still installed in late November, old TVs. No grill outside was disappointing. Tight single stacked parking. There is another small house on the same lot with multiple vehicles coming and going, combined with the close neighbors and there is limited privacy and no outdoor space."
