"My husband and I cannot say enough about the amazing time we had at this property! Janet and Dean were so kind and hospitable and made us comfortable for our entire stay. The cabin and washroom was spotless when we arrived and had all amenities we needed for the week. So many great activities available for families and children. "My wife and I (and 17 year old son) spent three wonderful days at this 'Rustic' cabin. The cabin was clean, quaint and exactly what one would expect from a 'rustic' cabin experience. The hosts Jason & Suzie were magnificent and went out of their way to ensure our trip was memorable. A very nice balance between relaxing on the property and adventures on the beautiful Westlemkoon Lake. We had a great time and look forward to returning."

"This property and home was unbelievable! The pictures do not do it it justice, I've been telling all my friends and family about this and showing my photos of the unique home. The octagon shape with the fireplace as the centre of the main room is beautiful. When we first arrived it felt like an adventure to learn the home. "The place was small and cozy. We didn’t need anything bigger! We only slept in the main bed and it was a comfortable sleep. The waterfront is weedy but still nice to sit on the dock to soak it in. The kayaks are a good touch and there are hiking trails across the road. The property was nice and quiet. The house was equipped with most things. I’d suggest bringing it if you think you’ll need it. More longing chairs would have been a nice touch, especially down on the dock. Communication was slow...

"From our arrival and seeing Bill unloading wood for our stay and showing us around the property, and the things we will need to know to the beautiful rustic interior of the cottage and the view of the lake, with all the wild life, this was absolutely a amazing 9 days for us and our dogs. "We had a lovely time at the cottage. The air was great, the drinking water excellent, the stars and the moon were enchanting, as were sunrise and the sunset. We patronized the local businesses and found all the people extremely friendly. Because of our age limitations we were unable to use the canoe, kayak or pedal boat. "My husband and I celebrated our anniversary at this beautiful cottage. It surpassed our expectations. Every detail has been so well thought out and the decor is so pretty. The property was great for a campfire on our last night when friends and family joined us. The hot tub is a highlight for sure. I highly recommend!"
