"This is a wonderful little house on top of a hill. The view is breathtaking. It's a curvy road to get here but it's definitely worth it. We cooked dinner in the spacious kitchen (for such a small house) looking out at the mountains. The appliances are modern and functional. The place is modern, well decorated and relaxing. The deck is a nice place to sit and read a book. There is a fire pit and wood was provided. We relaxed for a few hours in the hot tub and cooked some steak in the gas grill....

I will definitely be looking forward to another vacation and staying there! By the way, she also makes the BEST sangria I’ve ever had. Wish I could have brought some home!"

"My husband and I travelled with my parents to spend a long weekend at Rose Nest in January. We were looking for a beautiful peaceful warm weather escape, and this absolutely nailed it. The property and view from the house are wonderful. The house and pool were very clean. The bedrooms each have individual AC units so sleeping is very comfortable. With the back and front doors to the house open, you get a decent cross breeze in the living space. The kitchen was well appointed - we had everything...

"The property is quite large and is a nice island house. The bedrooms have air conditioning and it seems like the house has undergone some renovations as many parts look new. The best feature of the house is the very large porch with multiple hammocks. We spent most our time here. The host was fantastic and ensured we had everything we need. The only surprise was the location. The map on VRBO is not correct and the home is further away from the city than indicated on the site."

"The house is located across the street from a great beach and there are places to eat within a short walk. The town of Arecibo is a short drive away and we shopped for groceries and fun gifts. The prices were really low compared to mainland US, although sit-down restaurants are as expensive as on the mainland. Our party of 9, including 2 children, found the house to be perfect.
