Also so well set up with dishes and pantry stocked for cooking meals, board games, puzzles, great signage and easy instructions throughout the home. "The property was absolutely fantastic, with a welcoming rustic and cozy atmosphere. The floathouse had most of the basics for our stay, and was a comfortable fit for our group, with beautiful views of the Tofino harbour. Our host, Pearl, was generous and amenable as she taxied us to and from Strawberry Isle, gave us knowledgable advice on our plans for the weekend, and was incredibly responsive to our needs. "The apartment is in an excellent location and has windows on two side with what must be one of the best views in Tofino. The apartment was well equipped and very comfortable- our only complaint was that the property is directly above a cafe which starts baking (noisily!) at 5am - luckily 3 of our 4 nights were weekend/closed days so only one morning of noise!. "We spent a wonderful week staying at J-Bay with our 2 young adult sons. It was a stormy, rainy week, but we still really enjoyed getting out surfing and walking on the beach. Returning to this beautiful, peaceful home to feel nestled away from the stormy weather outside was so nice. The house is beautiful and spacious and has everything you need to relax, enjoy time together, or find a nook to get some solitude. Because of the stormy weather, we didn't get to enjoy sitting out on the little deck...

"Capitan Joel and Luc were awesome hosts. My husband took a trip out to get some halibut and had an amazing time. Caught a 42lb halibut to take home. The houseboat is clean and comfortable, we love the window to the sea. Such a fun experience. Highly recommend Strawberry Island for your next vacation."
