Spur Landing 3 day Cloudcroft

The property was very nice. The owners really took into account what one staying would need. It had everything you would need… towels, dishes, spices, pans, toiletries, games, even a snow shovel!! (Could use a tea kettle)Thank you! Great job!Problems: The downstairs bath had issues with sink draining. Had hair sticking in drain. It needed to be cleaned out. The shower heads did not spray correctly, they need a good vinegar clean. Some things needed dusted & dead bugs were on floor upon arriving. Otherwise nice place. Beds & kitchen were clean! Condo is older but very comfortable! Tv didn’t work in living room at first. We bought batteries & replaced in remote. It worked great after replacing batteries. We left some batteries there. We enjoyed the balcony on the golf course & watching the elk. Everyone was very nice & considerate around the area. Thank you for a nice stay!

Relaxing Getaway

We have stayed in various units in this complex over the years. This one was nicely appointed and maintained and overall very comfortable. The location is adjacent to a trail into the Lincoln National Forest; convenient for morning walks. The deck overlooks several holes on the Lodge Golf Course; wild horses and elk herds share the fairways on most days. Take your hummingbird and seed feeders to enjoy the large number and variety of winged visitors.There are about 8 dining options in Cloudcroft, and many additional options in Alamogordo and Ruidoso, both within an hour’s drive. Enjoy your stay!

Very comfortable and clean

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The house was very clean. We appreciate the convenience of having necessary items available to us. Such as trash bags, seasonings, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, etc.. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it for sure.

After Thanksgiving getaway

Property is very nice & clean. View of golf course was nice!! Plenty of firewood available for the fireplace!! Beds were nice & comfortable. We will use this property again in the future!!

Comfortable and great location

We stayed for a weekend getaway and were so pleased with the location and the home was very comfortable and clean. My husband especially enjoyed watching golfers. I enjoyed the deck and the cool mountain air and reading. We had no issues with anything there.

Cozy and Fun

Such a lovely place, enjoyed sitting outside on the balcony and watched the deer and elk walk in for afternoon snack. In the morning all the birds came over to eat for most of the day.

Quaint Condo in the Mountains

Lovely condo on the golf course. The first night was a bit hot due to the weather. Thankfully, the property has two fans available for every room so that was a life safer. I would absolutely rent from these hosts again - clear communication via email of check-in and check-out procedures sent a week prior to the stay. We never the weird in person experience of other VRBOs rentals. The condo was clean and the kitchen was well stocked for our cooking needs. We are a family with two younger children, they shared the downstairs room and we had a private space upstairs.

Beautiful mountain view

Great proximity to village and snow tubing. Upper mountain was closed, so activities were limited. Bring provisions with you! We got snowed in on the drive in and were very lucky the last tenants left ramen that held us over until we could get in to town.
