"Pictures don't tell the whole story. Front wooden steps were not nailed down and tripped up some people. There is a step down from the kitchen to living area is unsafe for kids and elderly, no handrails. Bathroom faucet was not attached to sink. Kitchen sink was loose, microwave door open was broken.. but very nice otherwise. Beds were comfortably and lots of room for groups. Had a great time with family in one spot."

"Our first time to stay in treehouse type VRBO and we were pleasantly surprised with this experience. David has done an amazing job to create the perfect setting for peace and relaxation. We loved it and look forward to staying at other options on this property. Hanging out with nature including hummingbirds, cows, horses, beautiful views was just what we needed. "I was traveling by myself this trip so I was looking for somewhere that was as easy as a hotel but quieter. The Nook was perfect! There are two parking spots which made it very convenient. "We were so pleasantly surprised how serene Mimi’s House was. A beautiful backyard for conversation and bird listening. There was a great kitchen to work in as we were there for the birth of a granddaughter. The location was convenient to the hospital and restaurants. We will be back and stay at Mimi’s House again."

"Our stay was wonderful! We have zero complaints. It was very clean, quiet and cozy. Our teens enjoyed kayaking down to the boat ramp close by and making s’mores at the fire pit. We had great luck fishing and the bait shop is a quick trip down the road! Host reached out shortly after booking and stayed in communication throughout the entire stay. They even baited the dock for us and offered some fishing tips! "

"We have stayed in this home multiple times over the last few years and we've loved it everytime. Communication from the management team is fantastic. The home is always impeccable and well stocked with things for morning coffee (which is a must for our group). :) The kitchen is fully functional and has everything you need if your plans involve cooking for hungry college kids (which ours always did). "From the time we arrived to the time we left we felt at home. The hot tub was awesome, I enjoyed a dip each evening. Colt was quick to respond to a question I had “location of the garbage can outside”. It is an older home and definitely has that vibe. We enjoyed our stay so much we tried to extend , however the home was already reserved, so I had to say good-bye to the hot tub."

"I very much enjoyed our stay at cabin #4. It was a very basic setup inside the cabin, yet comfortable. Had everything we needed. The best part was the private dock, where we enjoyed a full day of fishing. The scenery was beautiful as well. We enjoyed a few hikes, getting to know the landscape while we were there. Overall a beautiful & peaceful escape from the city life."
