"Thimble Cottage is sweet and nicely decorated but was a bit too small for 4 not large adults in our opinion. Easy location to explore delightful Southwold from. It was however rather noisy (bus stop and lovely pop up bakery queues outside main bedroom window from early in the morning, dog grooming parlour immediately behind the tiny courtyard, public bins being emptied at 5:30am in the High St). Mel communicated and answered all my questions, we also had Garry on hand all weekend via phone if we needed anything. "All terrific except that one of us doesn’t sleep well in the double bed - though the mattress is very comfortable the bed frame does jiggle about every time one person moves, affecting the other. I’m sure sounder sleepers wouldn’t complain - personal problem! Otherwise we love the cottage and its location and this time enjoyed having friends to dinner too. Thank you Abi and Ed"
