"Stayed here with a group of friends for a race that was happening in the area. The house was beautiful, with a lovely antique vibe, and nice amenities. "Exactly what we wanted, a place with a great view and a lot of peace and quiet. Definitely awd required and recommend some extra ground clearance. Our awd VW made the climb no problem but at the bottom of the drive when you start the serious climb my wife would spot to make sure we didn’t drag the front or get high centered. 440’ of climb in .5 miles, we enjoyed walking every day seeing deer and rabbits and raccoon. We even saw a black bear on the gravel road in the valley. "
