"Everything from finding the place, to check in, to proximity to activities was great! We didn’t need anything from the hosts during our stay but they were very responsive before hand! The place was great for hanging out during the time we spent inside. Beds were not the most comfortable, and you have to take every piece of garbage with you when you leave which was hard since we were coming from out of town, but we made it work! We had a wonderful time and would return. "

"We had a great time staying at the house. The upstairs had three bedrooms, a beautiful living room, kitchen and dining room and a bath and a half. The downstairs a master with a bathroom another bedroom, plus there was a bedroom in front of h the living. The only thing that was a little weird to us was There was a bed in the kitchen with a divider, but it all worked. All of us had a bed, so there was actually two kitchens. There was 2 1/2 full bath. There was plenty of parking. It was a lovely...

"We thought the place was dirty,had an odor,the blinds were broken and couldn’t close them.we had to use the same towel for 3 days.the ceiling vent in bathroom was dusty."

We happened to be there for the Rock the Bay weekend and we could hear the music from our porch. Pam was very helpful and answered promptly when we would text. We will stay here again."

"My family traveled to Alexandria Bay for a wedding on one of the islands and we loved our base at this house. It was in an amazing location, walkable to the main street where the shops, restaurant, bars and churches were located. The hostess was very professional and attentive. We had very good interaction.The house is lovely, we enjoyed having coffee on the front port in the morning. I would stay there again when another chance comes up to visit the area."

"Lovely new cottage tucked away in a quiet bay. You will need to have a boat or rent one to get there. The bay is shallow so communicate with the owner first if you have a larger boat. The property was super clean and very welcoming. There is a marina 5 minutes from the cottage that you can rent a pontoon boat from and you are only a few minutes from town. Definitely a place we would go again. "

"Girls trip...3 elder sisters plus second generation niece and her 2 daughters. We all agreed everything was perfect at this location. From bedroom choices to outside porches to full kitchen amenities everything we needed was at our fingertips. Location couldn't have been better. View of the St Lawrence, glimpses of ships traveling in the distance, perfect weather and wonderful flat hiking right in the neighborhood. The area was charming and steeped in early history of the thousand Islands...

"This was an amazing first stay at Angel Rock. Our cottage was cozy and the perfect size for our ladies getaway. We had everything we needed. Amazing views for the living area and outside deck. Beds were comfortable, only downside was the bottom sheet and mattress pad come off fairly quick after getting into bed. Area was very quiet and relaxing. Look forward to future stays with Angel Rock. "

The location was perfect, we could see the river right from the yard, and the property is within easy walking distance to restaurants, the shops, the riverside parks and the boat museum. "Captain Thompson's resort is an outstanding resort. It has the best location of any in Alex Bay. It is within walking distance of everything. The view of the river and Bolt Castle in units on the main channel is second to none. The staff was very helpful and professional. The manager, Lisa, was exceptional! We plan to be a regular visitor every year."
