The Turquoise Home is quite special!! I am 73...stayed here solo for most of my week but was joined by my son and granddaughters for several nights. Interior is spotlessly clean and yet comfortable. Kitchen very well-appointed. 4 bedrooms are large and beds comfortable. My granddaughters loved their Princess-like room.The stand-alone sauna was a highlight enjoyed by all...almost hidden down by the water, truly rejuvenating. The hot tub is huge so while my granddaughters didn't swim in the river they were 100% happy in the tub. Deck area is expansive and fully-appointed outdoor kitchen was this home chef's dream. Completing the gorgeous exterior of this riverside home is a firepit and large deck to watch the many boats pass by. We will return!

We absolutely loved our stay! This home is comfortable, clean, well decorated and furnished, and the location is hard to beat. We really enjoyed the outdoor spaces on the porch and fire pit. The kids especially loved the hot tub. I hope to come again.

Just what we wanted!!

The checkin process was one of the easiest we have encountered. The house is set nicely for gatherings but the outside area was the best...we had bonfires every night. The surrounding area has a nice trail for walkers, bikers and runners. The loittle mexican restaurant down the street was exceptionally good.

Perfect location!

This property was great! The hot tub was awesome and clean, the extra blankets and quality bedding made the house cozy and comfortable, and the fireplace really set the mood for our stay. We didn't use the fire pit but it looked awesome! Our host was wonderful and this place met all of our needs - no complaints at all!

Family visit

Over all we loved our stay. Everything listed on the property site was available upon our arrival and we had a great time at the property. The location and town were all we expected. Only down side was to much decor for a smaller place, to many towels on all the racks in bathrooms and none of the door locks worked

fantastic Chicago area home

This property was very clean, well-organized and stocked with everything that we needed. House is in a great location on the river and looks like it would be a great place to stay in the summer months. Lots of great places to eat within blocks of the home. Definitely on my short list of places to return to.

Beautiful home, wonderful vacation

We had a lovely time at the property with our adult children & grandchildren. The view of the river was beautiful, the house was very easy to find, and the layout of the house was wonderful! We also appreciated the very comfortable beds complete with beautiful pillows and linens. The kitchen was very well equipped & the appliances were top-of-the-line. We loved our time at the River House!!!

Algonquin Paradise

Our family of 6 (4 adults, 1 teen, 1 tween) spent 5 nights and loved every minute! Anna had everything in the home we needed to make our stay enjoyable. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub, wished we had more days to spend here too! Lots of spaces to share stories and just chill. Beds were all comfy as well. Great communication all around and we definitely would stay again.

Girls Getaway

This was an amazing girls weekend despite the storms. The property was clean, bright and beautiful. The host was very responsive to questions and check out was easy. Neighborhood was friendly and just a few minute walk into town. We would definitely stay here again.

Exceeded our expectations

Great communication and wonderful experience at this riverfront house! Even though the property is not pre setup as childproofed (as advertised), it was easy to childproof ourselves. No complaints and we’re recommending this property to friends in the area

Family road trip

Me and 9 other family members traveled from PA to this location for a surprise party, Anna was very accommodating with our party size and vehicle size (34 foot RV). The house is adorable, view is amazing and location was perfect.
