Perfect for family
We stayed during Family Weekend at St. Bonaventure- it was about 10 min from campus and perfect for a fun getaway. Great decor, great setup, super responsive and friendly host!

A reunion of old friends
We arranged for a reunion of some high school friends who hadn't seen each other in close to 30 years. Our group has a history of camping together in Allegheny as kids and thought it would be a perfect place to re-connect. Pumpkin Hollow was just what we were needing. We weren't looking for anything extravagant as the fire-pit was our main focus and we used it plenty spending the evenings getting to know each other again. This booking was well, well, worth it and if we decide to do this again we'll definitely be checking on availability.

Perfect vacation spot
My fiance and I loved our stay at Mike’s cabin! The creek was peaceful and a great place to dip our toes to cool off. We loved using the gas grill, the fire pit, and awesome outdoor bar.

Memorial Weekend
We arrived Friday May 24th 2024 at around 6:30ish. Has been awhile since I’ve been in New York State. No cell service and it wasn’t until I signed back into VRBO that I received instructions how to get into the cabin. Cabin is absolutely gorgeous. As others commented about the smell of smoke, well yeah, there is a wood stove. I heat my mountain home with wood, smelled of home. We brought our lovely lady along with us, she is 9 years old, she isn’t a fan of the flooring lucky we brought her bed. Suggestion - put a lock on the screen door off the covered deck, would have loved to had both doors opened for a breeze. When we decided to be back in that neck of the woods again, we will be calling to see if the cabin is available. Thank you

Gathered here for a nearby Saint Bonaventure graduation event! One night had the whole family over for a barbecue and fire pit get together. It was perfect.

Best Firepit on VRBP
Pumpkin Hollow was a great place for us. The firepit was amazing. The creek was pretty. We enjoyed looking at the beer can collection. The kitchen equipment was ok, nothing special. The shower was hot. The beds were comfortable. The place is quirky though. If you're looking for something fancy, this is not it. We loved it though. Michael was great and very easy to get in touch with when we had questions about the jukebox. He's really a great guy. We'll be back.

What a beautiful setting!
We enjoyed our stay at Pumpkin Hollow Inn. The property is stunning! The kids loved playing on the swings and around the creek (even in the snow!!) We got around 4 inches of snow during our stay and the driveway was plowed for us while we were out skiing! Everything we needed was there and readily available. All the comforts of home for a weekend away!

Cozy Cabin
My girlfriend and I had a wonderful, relaxing time at the cabin! It is well kept, very clean and organized! It rained most of the weekend, but we were warm and comfortable the whole time, as there is a great propane wall unit and a super woodstove! I started a nice campfire the first evening before it rained. Then had a fire going in the woodstove almost the whole time. I loved the LED lights throughout! Very cool! It was super warm and cozy! We watched several movies as there is huge selection of DVDs and a great variety of TV channels! We also shot cans across the creek with the 2 air rifles provided, and played some darts as well. Mike and Francis communicated everything perfectly! We look forward to renting again soon!!!

Pumpkin Hollow fall getaway
It’s our second stay at the cottage and we love it here ! Was beautiful to see the leaves changing color ! First night made a big fire and enjoyed the light show ! We ended up having a rainy day and found lots to do inside playing games and watching movies also listening to the juke box ! Our dog Bella loves it being at the cabin too!! Just book it!
Perfect weekend getaway! So relaxing. The stream was amazing; we played in it as a family all weekend. My 9 year old daughter loved the rope swing! Having a fire by the creek at night was magical! The cabin had everything we needed; very well thought out. Mike and Francis were the perfect hosts! If you're looking for a relaxing vacation where you can just spend time together as a family, you're not going to find a better place!
