"Came here for a short stay. The bungalow was clean on arrival and all the necessaties of a home away from home facilities were in place (large fridge/freezer), cooker, TV/Wifi, shower etc and worked as expected. The bungalow was very warm and the heating a little hard to work out how to adjust to get it cooler but with the large patio door it wasn't such a problem. The place does look a little dated with some older styled furntiure but it was all comfy and for the price I have no complaints. ...

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Rock Pipit Lodge. The accommodation has been really tastefully decorated, has everything you need, and is very comfortable and cosy. The other great features are the art room, utility room and masses of games and puzzles on offer. The grounds are beautiful, too, with amazing views of the surrounding countryside. On our first day we had a lovely walk from the top field to Lee Abbey and the bay, and it is a great base for local attractions such as Woody Bay...

"First impressions of the property was that it was lovely and warm, well appointed, nice decor and very comfortable beds. Due to horrific traffic we arrived considerably later than hoped, Chris and Freya were very accommodating. "We konden 2 weken genieten van de rust en stilte in dit mooie stukje Engeland. Aiden en zijn familie doen er alles aan om ervoor te zorgen dat alles zeer aangenaam verloopt. We deden dagelijks uitstappen met de kinderen en moesten hiervoor nooit langer dan 30 minuten rijden. Ook de wandelingen door de weien tussen de koeien en de schapen zijn zeker de moeite waard om te doen. Topvakantie!"

"I'd firstly like to thank Mrs Thomas for our stay, and admit that the cottage was very good value for money. However, we found the bathing facilities to be poor, being extremely cold and inhospitable. We did use the bathroom once, but would not use it again a second time. Again, I need to remind that the cottage is very good value for money. Perhaps, not for families with children."

"As I find stairs difficult with luggage, and no lift, staff were helpful and changed my room from 1st floor to ground. Staff were pleasant but bar service could be improved. The waiter was covering the kitchen and bar. He walked past me twice, while I stood at the bar, but I still had to open the door to the kitchen, and call, I had to ask for ice and lemon, but didn't get the lemon, it didn't seem available. Just small things really but could be improved. "
