"We chose this house so we could visit Skellig Island. Sadly, the trip was cancelled due to stormy weather but we didn't mind too much as the house was such a pleasure to hunker down in! We used our downtime to catch up on showers, laundry, rest, and relaxation before resuming our tour around Ireland. "This property was perfect for our family. It was just a 2 min walk from shops, restaurants, and pubs, and located at the end of a culdasack, so it was very quiet. The house was very clean and spacious, and well fitted. Everyone in town were amazingly kind and friendly. We had an amazing time in Sneem and hiking the nearby mountains, conquering Carrountoonhil!!"

"We spent 1 week in Tallon Lodge with 6 adults and felt very comfortable there. The rooms are very nice, the living area is large and comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped. Ann and Finbarr are wonderful hosts. They gave us a warm welcome and we could turn to them with questions at any time. The big garden and a nice sitting area beside the house are great. The surrounding area is beautiful and the center of Castletownbere only a 15 minutes walk away. I can only recommend this...

"This is a pretty, clean, well-stocked house on the lovely Sheep's Head peninsula. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen has everything you need, and the TV has Netflix. It's only a short walk to the beach, hiking trails, two restaurants, and a general store. The general store only takes cash. We had a wonderful time walking many miles in beautiful, remote surroundings. The only caution I would give is that there is very little taxi service and only one bus, so plan to bring a car if you want...

"Alles was prima in orde in het ruime en gezellige huis met een unieke ligging met uitzicht op de Bantry Bay. We verbleven er met acht en er was meer dan voldoende ruimte voor iedereen. De wandelingen over Sheep’s Head waren pittig, maar prachtig. Na iedere beklimming weer een nieuw panorama!"
