Great coffee and restaurants in the hood say you want something different from the large chain hotels and their overpriced characterless food and drink offerings. Owners live upstairs so 'easy everything'. "

"I stayed for three weeks in Becky's studio. It was very clean and in a great location for coffee shops, restaurants and grocery stores. Becky is an excellent host and was extremely responsive when I contacted her which was only twice and for minor issues. As a senior, my only issue was finding a parking space and therefore never ventured out if I had to return after dark. I would definitely stay here again but probably would not bring my car."

"Our Stay at the Loft was just the perfect size for a reunion with my adult son. I was looking for a place that had a kitchen and also allowed pets. The property was clean, safe, quiet and close to all amenities you would need. There are only 2 things I would suggest that could be addressed is 1. "The apartment was perfect for our trip to Portland. Great location/neighborhood. We did not cook much because there are so many delicious restaurants to try in pdx, but the kitchen had all the amenities we would have needed. Parking was never an issue. Since it is a basement/downstairs apartment, some of the doorways are a little low, so if you are a taller person you'd need to watch your head.
