The property was perfect for our family and the views were breathtaking! The owner was very informative and pleasant to work with. The home was very nice and very clean. Plenty to do within 10-15 miles from home’s location.

Stunning!
Our stay was too short. We flew in Friday night and left before dawn on Sunday. The house is perfect. The hot tub dissolved the 12 hours of travel quickly. The view from the picture window actually took my breath away. One small issue was quickly dealt with. Would highly recommend this house for anyone.

Outstanding!
The view into Palo Dura Canyon was outstanding! You have the view from the dining room, kitchen, living room, deck, and hot tub. Watching the sunrise was magical. It is a spacious property with lots of fun activities. It is very close to the State Park enterance.

We loved the Cliffside house - the views were amazing and we enjoyed everything about it. The hot tub was great after a day hiking the canyon. The house had everything we needed for a wonderful family trip!

Four-Generation Spring Break Adventure
Description of "stunning canyon views" is an understatement!! We loved everything about the house and it was very comfortable for our family of eight people. The guest contact was very responsive and incredibly thoughtful. We appreciated all of his helpful info and restaurant recommendations, especially Green Chile Willy's chicken fried steak! If we return to the area we will definitely be hoping this house is available.

Breathtaking view of Palo Duro Canyon
The house has been wonderfully updated with huge windows that give you an amazing view of the canyon. Also there is a nice toasty hot tub on the patio and again, with canyon views. Wonderful property. Also, for anyone staying here, I heartily recommend the local mercantile - the Sad Monkey - for coffee, craft beer, and essential hiking and camping items.

Stunning views. Don’t miss the sunrises! Wonderful home and host. Close to Palo Duro State Park for hiking. Perfect for family trip. Note the 2 smaller bedrooms are best for children or teens.

Incredible view and access to state park
We stayed at this property over a long weekend and had an amazing visit. The house was clean, comfortable and well equipped. The view from the deck is amazing, that's where we spent most of our time. Internet and TV worked well. Kitchen was very well equipped. Plenty of space for a group, and lots of activities. The proximity to the park was unbeatable. We were able to access the hiking trails in the park within about 10-15 minutes drive of the property. I would highly recommend this property and would strongly consider staying here again if we return to the area.

Bee-you-tee-full!
Fantastic property right on the Canyon. Back porch overlooking canyon faces east, so you get a perfect sunrise view every morning. The house is spacious, with plenty of room for the four adults in our group. Everything was clean and working perfectly. The house is located inside a gated community, so we felt very safe. Easy five minute drive to the State Park and about 10 minutes back to town. Perfect spot for our vacation. We will be back!

Overwhelmed
We were all overwhelmed by the location, home, and hospitality of the owner of this place. We plan on being regulars and the 8 hours we drove to be there was well worth it. We got to hike and see some wild life and the people living in the community was also kind.

Cabin atop of Lone Star beauty
The house was perfect. Large enough for 4 adult males. We were hoping to get as much hiking and biking in 2 days as we could. It seemed after the first full day, 2 days are not enough to take in all Palo Duro has to offer. Look forward to next years trip, thank you to David for being so easy to get a hold of and more than accommodating to slight changes in our reservation. This is surely a perfect spot to stay being less than 5 mins from the front gate of park. Loved It.

Amazing location! The property had everything we needed and more - it was clean and comfortable and the hosts were great communicators. The perfect place to relax, unwind, and enjoy absolute peace. We thoroughly enjoyed the close proximity to hiking Palo Duro and the maps in the house were extremely helpful to us for planning our days.

Great property. The view is unreal. Nice house very functional for a family and has everything you need. Hut tub and foosball, ping pong, shuffleboard were fun touches. Kitchen is fully stocked and well organized and the grill is also great. Loved sitting and just watching sunset and sunrise over the canyon. Perfect.

Clean and comfortable house with a fantastic view
Cliffside house was a very comfortable place for our family to explore Palo Duro, Amarillo and Canyon. The view from the house is mind-boggling. The kitchen was well-equipped with cooking essentials including utensils, pots, spices, coffee, tea and popcorn. We enjoyed the ping pong, shuffleboard, foosball and board games. The hot tub was great for muscles tired from hiking. The host's suggestions of trails and restaurants were quite helpful. We enjoyed the dark skies for star gazing and were lucky to catch a couple of nighttime thunderstorms across the canyon. Beautiful!! We hope to return to Palo Duro and would love to stay at Cliffside again.

Felt like home with a much better view!
Top notch property with an attentive and thoughtful host. This home is clean, spacious, comfortable, and has all the amenities one needs for a relaxing stay. The view is breathtaking and can be enjoyed outside on the porch or inside through the floor to ceiling picture windows. The neighborhood was peaceful, quiet, and easy to get in and out of. The game room kept the kiddos entertained, and the hot tub was a great way to unwind after a long day of hiking in the canyon. The owner was easy to communicate with and gave great advice on where to eat and hike. I highly recommend staying here and hope to do so again in the future. Thanks again for a memorable stay!
