"The Depot is an amazing quaint and charming gem in the heart of Amherst. The property is newly renovated and very clean and peaceful. The owner is very easy to communicate with and very accommodating. If you need to stay in Amherst this is the place to stay! Every little detail from the furnishing to the surroundings is excellent. "I was at a workshop in Rosholt for the week and needed a place to essentially sleep and grab a cup of coffee before heading out for the day. It was clean and quiet — there is a train nearby, but I always travel with ear plugs. It had the essentials I needed for this stay. "

The house has an ideal layout for both family meals and social time as well as quiet spots to get away from the crowd. "We enjoyed the amazing home that entailed the incredible comfortable bed, amazing kitchen game room and deck. Probably the most stunning was the view from the deck of the lake which is breathtaking. The water was incredible and we rented their pontoon which allowed great access to the chain of lakes. We hope to come back and add to the great memories we made."

"Fantastic rental! Perfect for kids. Hatch Lake is loaded with bluegill, perch, bass. Not huge fish but the kids caught one after another in the boat and right off the pier. Very clean, comfortable cottage. Brought our fishing boat and the launch was just a few houses down. Very convenient! Hoping to back soon!"

"We had a fun and relaxing stay at this cozy cottage. The lake was beautiful. We floated on paddle boards, took out our kayaks, fished, and sat on tubes and floated around on the hot days. We liked the peddle boat also.
