"Our stay at the cabin was absolutely wonderful. Owners were pleasant to work with, and check-in was very smooth. The cabin is definitely unique, with all the comforts of home. Plenty of room, with games and books to keep us occupied. Beds were very comfortable and the nature surrounding the cabin was very peaceful. It was the perfect get-away for a Girl's weekend. "

"The layout of this house is PERFECT for a large group, especially of varying ages, with bedrooms on one side and common areas on the other. The fully equipped kitchen made it easy to prepare large group meals. And the living room was so cozy and welcoming for our winter weekend getaway. The lake access was perfect for ice fishing and I’d imagine even better for summer swimming fun. "

" We came up from Kansas City and stayed Sunday to Saturday. Everything we needed for our vacation! The bed was comfortable, the AC and heat worked great. When we wanted to watch the Royals post season game, we grabbed our laptop and watched out at the campfire. Wifi Signal was great. Did some fishing. The lake was nice and calm. "This house was everything we could have imagined! It was the perfect setting for a family trip with my sisters, cousin and 81 year old mom. The only issue we had was the multi-level stairs for my mother. We stayed at the home the entire trip and cooked all meals there. Everything we needed was provided. "We had a wonderful stay at Sunrise Vista on Porter’s Lake! The property was amazing big and everything inside was well thought out and organized. We enjoyed swimming, boating, kayaking, and fishing off the dock! We loved hanging outside around the bonfire pit and taking in as much fresh air as we could. The cottage is spacious, clean and had everything we needed for our stay. We enjoyed playing games in the basement on some rainy evening. Overall we had a great family vacation!"
