Sean was a wonderful host, waiting for us when we arrived with excellent suggestions. The pictures do not do justice to the views in this loft. Both inland and cliff views are visible from the living room/kitchen. The cliffs and beach have walking paths so they are easily reached. Or if you're unable to take the paths, you can drive the couple blocks to the beach parking lot and walk along the shore. It's a favorite with locals too, so expect to see dogs lapping in the waves. Tramore is about fifteen minutes away with shopping, groceries, pubs, and beaches.
The loft was well-equipped, the beds very comfortable, and a wonderful shower. There is also a combo washer/dryer (same machine) in the kitchen.
I can't recommend this loft enough. We cancelled our day trip the last day just to enjoy the apartment and area.
There are plenty of day trips to keep you busy: Waterford is 30 minutes away and a lovely small downtown to wander away an afternoon. The Dunbrody Famine Ship is also about a half-hour drive and well worth a visit. Kilkenny is almost as close with an amazing Medieval Mile.
