"What an amazing find! This property is a proper little home away from home. It has the most spectacular views over the sea, it is very well appointed and was lovely and cosy in the chilly November days. It is ideally located for coastal walking and is a perfect little retreat to come back to and relax. Anstruther and delicious fish and chips are a short walk along the road. "We had 4 people staying on the first night. Everyone was very comfortable but the loft space did allow sound to travel from downstairs. We enjoyed the patio and beautiful views of the forth. We cooked a meal on the third day and made full use of the well appointed kitchen. The only issue we had was the lack of toilet brush and that we couldn't get the washing machine to drain. The host's solution to this (send more towels) would not have been practical on a longer stay. Very pleasant...

Check-in would have been simpler with detailed information on how to work the door handle. Also, detailed description on how to use the washer/dryer combo would have save us time and the owner energy costs."
