"Cabbiavoli was the gathering place for our two week celebration with family and friends for my husband’s retirement. We were within an hour of every place we wanted to visit (Florence, Siena, Piza, Volterra) and even got to do the Cinque Terre hike, albeit a long day but so worth the two hour drive time! The train being so close made all excursions possible. Wineries are very close and within driving distance. Cabbiavoli itself is loaded with history and its grounds and views are breathtaking....

"Le cadre est enchanteur, le personnel très gentil. La situation géographique est idéal car situé en pleine campagne mais au coeur du triangle Florence, Pise, Sienne. La piscine permet de bien se détendre et se rafraîchir après une journée de balades. Le gite était très bien avec juste un petit bémol sur l'équipement car nous étions 8 et il y a tout juste assez de vaisselle. Nous avions la climatisation que nous avons bien appréciée mais ce n'était pas précisé sur le site lors de la réservation,...

"The Castle and surroundings are stunning. The property is right next to the castle and a short walk to the pool. It had everything we needed for our 3 days whist we explored the cities of Florence, Pisa and Siena, all a short car journey away. Because of the location you definitely needed a car. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would recommend. Beautiful place."

We ate on property two of our four nights, the wait staff were not the most welcoming and did not offer the charm of the surroundings. "

"It is a very beautiful castle with lovely scenic views. We were there in June. The rooms were very spacious and nice. It is very accessible to other towns in Tuscany. The staff was very helpful throughout our stay. The only problem we had was the mosquitoes. We had our windows shut throughout the nights although a few managed to come through..otherwise everything else was great!"
