"Awesome location very close to dining, shops and even closer to the beach. The rooms are a bit tired and, yes, the other reviewers comments about those beds, are true. They are definitely not what you will find at your usual Hilton or Quest Hotel. The curtains are a tad sad and the rooms are decorated the same way they were when I last stayed ten years ago. For the price, I was not impressed with the peeling ceiling in the bathroom or that some of the dishes were not completely clean, but the rest of the home was nice with a lovely patio and was across from the pool. The grounds had beautiful landscaping and the pool was nice. Close to restaurants and shopping with pak n save close for dining in options. "

"Had a one night stay following a trip to Hobbiton movie set. Stayed in chalet Frodo which is only a 10-15 min drive from Hobbiton.The chalet is very clean and well appointed. While quite compact it had everything the two of us required for an overnight stay. We had dinner at Osteria restaurant in the main centre which is only a 3 min drive away. Thoroughly recommend Osteria for quality of food, portion size , atmosphere and price"
