Coin tranquille près de magnifiques plages
La maison est confortable et bien équipée. Nous avons bien apprécié la piscine et la climatisation vu la chaleur extrême. C’est un coin très tranquille un peu décentré. Elle est à 20 minutes de l’aéroport, 30-45 minutes de Bridgetown, 45 minutes-1heure de la côte ouest, 45 minutes du centre de l’île et 1h15 du bout de l’île. Il y a 3 magnifique plages presque désertes à distance de marche. Les restaurants et l’épicerie les plus près sont à une quinzaine de minutes.

First time in Barbados. We were looking for a quiet holiday The Hummingbird Villa was perfect. Our host Lorraine was the Best…very knowledgeable about the Island, places to visit and restaurants. Lorraine made sure we were able to contact her if we had any issues or problems. Overall a great experience and stay, just what we needed.

Minor hiccup with checking in but was sorted out. Jan was very pleasant. Place was nice and clean. My family enjoyed our stay. Recommend having a vehicle to stay here thought. We also had the pleasure meeting a puupy and baby 🐒

Humming Bird House
Nice out of the way home in a quiet street, we had a great time in the pool after a long day in the sun. It is out of the way of the touristy areas of Barbados. Which we loved, house was clean, area was quiet great place to unwind.

Our first trip to Barbados
We loved our stay at Hummingbird Villa! We could open the doors for a fresh breeze off the ocean! The beach was just a walk away and it is a stunning beach! The house was perfect for us and not too far from all the things we wanted to do on the island!

Walking distance to three beaches...
Exactly as described. Great pool and nice neighborhood. The beaches are exceptionally beautiful, but caution is recomended, this is the east coast...A wonderful holiday. We highly recommend it. The house was nice but the living room furniture was outdoor furniture and not very comfortable. cushions kept sliding off. Kitchen was well equipped but a cutting board would be nice. We did not find one. We enjoyed our stay

Better than town.
After 6 nights in a hotel at Dover Beach we found the hummingbird house very nice, spacious and relaxing. Bottom Bay beach is wonderful, the area seems very safe, stores and restaurants within 10 minutes and the beautiful east coast 20 minutes. Watching the sun rise over the ocean from the back patio was awesome. The house was well appointed and clean. Jan the property manager was helpful. We would absolutely book this villa again in the future. Also the price was very reasonable— less than our “deluxe” hotel studio.

Our 2023 Family Vacation
The Hummingbird Villa exceeded my family and I expectations. It was spacious, well kept, clean, peaceful, and family friendly. Having a private pool was an absolute plus, we were in the pool for hours at a time everyday. My family and I had an amazing time, and we definitely would be booking it again for our next trip back to Barbados. We definitely would and have recommended the property to other family members and friends. Thank you Hummingbird Villa for everything we truly appreciate it all, see you soon.

A pleasant stay
The house was well equipped with everything that one would expect. There were numerous restaurants within a 20-minute drive, and all were good. The pool was a good size and well maintained. My only disappointment was that the pictures led me to believe that it was much more secluded than it is. There are neighbors close by on both sides of house and one of the neighboring properties upper deck looks down on the whole backyard and pool area. If that isn't an issue with you, then this probably a house to consider.

Needs upgraded ,only 2 sun loungers small pool steel shipping containers near villa ,near beach which is good ,garden furniture to sit on in living room which is not the best , and unsuitable for six as has a fold down bed ,not what you expect by the pictures on website,and host didnt leave welcome pack.

Great stay in a beautiful property
This is our second time renting this beautiful property and we were not disappointed! The views and location are amazing! You are a 3 min walk from one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, and every morning you are treated to a beautiful sunrise! Janine is great to deal with, and answers every question you may have quickly! We love this property and would rent it again in a heartbeat!

Home away from home
Hummingbird was very relaxing and clean. It has all the necessary things you need to cook with and to take a picnic on the road. The next villa has some noisy guests but other than that it was wonderful to relax by the pool and enjoy the star gazing which we rarely see in the city . It is worth to take some time off to destress and enjoy life. Siila and crew

2nd Honeymoon at Hummingbird House
This place has a special place in our hearts. 11 years ago we had our honeymoon at this very spot. We fell in love with the beach, the area, and Barbados in general. I promised my new wife that we would return to Hummingbird House someday. After waiting many years we were set to return for our 10-year anniversary but COVID put the plans on the back burner. We had already booked a return to Hummingbird House and placed a deposit down. This is where the owners were gracious enough to book us for the following year in hopes that the world would open up again. Finally, we were able to travel to Barbados in July of 2022. The villa is a perfect place to relax and recharge. It was in great condition when we arrived. Jan the property manager was easy to reach if we had any issues and ensured we had a pleasant stay. The whole process was very accommodating and I would recommend this property to anyone of my friends and family. We are already talking about a 15 or 20-year anniversary stay. Thank you again Hummingbird House for the wonderful memories and for the pleasant booking experience.

Great stay!
We had a blast at Hummingbird. Very relaxed. Very clean house, great internet, nice bedrooms, great pool and a well stocked kitchen. Many other reviewers say this - but I want to emphasize that beach swimming is rough. Lots of waves, undertow, etc. That said - it's a beautiful, secluded beach with a little cave. Wonderful info from the host and friend. Visit Oistins fish market/restaurants for sure! So much fun. Great place!

Lovely Villa
My family and I loved the villa. The property was well maintained and clean. The location is ideal for a family get away or group trip. The children definitely enjoyed the pool and hammock the most. Lorraine was waiting at the property to welcome us, she was really pleasant and helpful, and provided us with details on the villa as well as thing to do during our visit. We would definitely book again.
