"Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely upstairs home. We walked everywhere including to the farmers market, grocery stores, and a restaurant. "We enjoyed our stay at Emerald Forest. The campground is stunning - we had a massive redwood right next to our cabin. There were a few issues that came up during our time there, but the management team was very responsive and helped us resolve them. If you want a peaceful, sylvan place to stay while visiting the Redwoods, this is a great option."

"It's a large home with bedrooms, games, stairwells, and even a suite in a stand-alone building all over the place. The driveway is tight and rough. But it does lead to a small trail and a private beach. My big complaint would be the upstairs shower. Ick. The town is small and interesting. It is a great place to be to see the most of the multiple redwood parks."

"Our daughter and 8 year old twins live in Eureka and we came up to treat them for Thanksgiving. The kids got their own rooms and so did their mom. My wife and I took the downstairs bedroom. The house has everything one could wish for in a rental. We were thoroughly impressed with the beds, bath, kitchen and our host who brought a new TV while we were there. Great place."

"Unfortunately, I received very bad service. THE ONLY THING THAT WAS REALLY CLEAN WAS THE BATHROOM. Everything was very old and dirty. They never changed the sheets, pillowcases, or blanket in the days I stayed there. The only thing they changed were the bath towels. The blanket was stained and had other people's hair on it. NOTHING THEY OFFER ONLINE IS REAL. AS I SAID, EVERYTHING IS OLD AND DIRTY. IN ADDITION, THEY CHARGED ME FOR THE $100 DEPOSIT THAT ONE LEAVES WHEN CHECK IN"
