My family and I traveled to Asheville for my nieces dream wedding. We stayed at the Blake House Inn carriage house. Due to Hurricane Helene we lost power on Friday 9-27-2024. The property owners were very accommodating and communicated with us right away. Offering us hot water, water bottles, food, candles, flash lights, etc. The property had some branches and tree debris from the storm, this was cleaned up first thing Friday morning after the storm keeping us safe. The structure did not sustain any damage, it was Helene proof!!! Unfortunately this was not the case for much of the surrounding area. This location has everything, close to the airport and many supermarkets, Walmart, gas, etc. Easy 20 minute drive into Asheville. My nieces wedding was not as she planned but it went off and we were all safe. Thank you so so so much for providing us with such a soft loving place! The carriage house was so very comfortable and clean, great place to rest. Decorated beautifully. Beds were super comfy.

Great location!
My husband, myself, our 7 year old daughter and our 4 month old baby boy had a clean and comfortable stay here. The kitchen was stocked with all the cookware needed, plenty of linens and towels, and cleaning supplies for any spills, and laundry on site! (Be still me neat freak heart) The carriage house was centrally located to everything we wanted to accomplish. A quick 10 minute drive from the airport, 15 minutes to get to the Biltmore and 20 minutes from Asheville and an easy adventure to get to chimney rock.strongly recommend if you want a place to call home away from the busy city.

I’m hesitant to write this review because I want to keep this place to myself. It was wonderful. You could just bring your clothes and make yourself at home. Fully stocked kitchen and living combo with two bedrooms and an entry way. It was very clean and owners are very friendly. I would definitely recommend.

Place was very clean, close to everything we wanted to do, very comfortable stay. It was very cold when we were there, we enjoyed the hot water, and the water pressure is good also. We also met the owner who was very nice. We would definitely stay again.

GREAT FAMILY TIME
Lets start by saying it is a good location with shopping and resturants within minutes. We had a wonderful at the " Vintage Market" . Enjoyed some great family time. The only thing bad was being from the country we are used to it being dark when trying to sleep... the master has blinds which worked fine but they do let in alot of light. Thanks for having us would stay again.
