"It was only a short break but we found the staff very friendly and nothing was to much trouble and the owners Alex and Myles were also very pleasant and also nothing was to much trouble the food was exceptional that the chef prepared would definitely return "
"Our stay at the Ship in Dock Inn was absolutely perfect! The room was excellent, spotlessly clean, well-equipped with all the amenities, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location couldn’t be better, right in the heart of everything. The staff were amazing, extremely friendly, welcoming, and accommodating throughout our visit. "Lovely setting and views from the hotel public areas and our room. Quiet and peaceful. Staff were all very helpful and friendly. Room spacious , clean and comfortable. Breakfast was self serve offering a good choice of hot & continental. Swimming pool was closed whilst we were there unfortunately but hot tub jacuzzi and sauna were open and available along with other Spa facilities. Would definitely stay again."
"This place suited my needs perfectly, it had ample parking and was within a 5 minute walk of the harbour. The owner was lovely and the rooms were beautiful and the breakfast was delicious. I also liked that there were sitting rooms downstairs, a large garden and summer house for guests to use. I will definitely be going back. "

"Lovely seaside retreat, perfect location and welcoming hosts. Breakfast was great and easy walking distance to the harbour.
We had a harbour view room and the sunshine came through lovely late afternoon to enjoy whilst getting ready for the evening.

"A little gem. Had a fantastic weekend stay at The Smugglers. From the minute we checked in to the moment we left, the staff made us very welcome. The restaurant served superb steaks cooked on their charcoal grill.

"Booked accommodation for my partner whilst I was in hospital. He was really impressed with everything from how spotlessly clean everything was and how comfortable his room was, to the warm welcome. He would recommend such to anyone. "
"Stayed 2 nights in twin room. The room was small ,however it had everything we needed. There was tea/ coffe/ hot chocolate available in the room that was replenished daily. The room was warm as we were top floor, but there was a fan provided which was very welcome. The bathroom was very small, and you may find a struggle if on larger size, however like rest of property was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was cooked to order and really good. "
