Wonderful stay!
The house was spacious, clean, comfortable, and close enough to downtown to make this the perfect stay for our group of 8 friends. The house is divided into two apartments so you really feel like you have privacy and space. Check in was easy and communication was great. Definitely recommend staying here!

Beautiful house
The Potter’s House was exceeded our expectations. The art around the house makes you feel like you are someplace special. The kitchen is well-stocked with all that you need to cook meals and the bathrooms are well-stocked with lots of towels and shampoo. The great room was a perfect room for our extended family to gather, eat, read, and play games during our stay. I would highly recommend Mike as a host.

This property was wonderful for a big group with pets! We went mountain biking and hiking and had great access to downtown and the Biltmore. Cara the property manager was wonderful with any questions we had. Great week in Asheville

Terrific location and unique property
We loved this location, which was just as close to Asheville as advertised on the listing. The entire listing we thought was exactly right - great kitchens (2 of them), separate living areas up and downstairs and a house filled with art. Responsive owner, too.

Unfortunately issues with property
We wanted to love this property, but there were pretty big issues that prevented us from giving a better review. The first of which were the ants, and silverfish, that we were constantly killing in the kitchen / upstairs dining room area. With doors closed. There were 8 (!) spray cans of wasp / bee pesticide under the kitchen sink, so this apparently was not a new issue, and we used those to try to keep the ants at bay. But at one point there were dozens of small ants swarming around the sliding glass doors and onto the dining room rug. The second issue was that the TVs - all 3 of them in two apartments - never worked. We called Cara the property manager 3x over a 36 hour period and she never responded. There were numerous ceiling and room lights that were out and needed replacing, no basic items in the kitchen such as tin foil or plastic wrap, and the house was in need of a thorough cleaning. It's a shame because it could be a beautiful property.

Perfect for our needs, 2 families, 2 seperate units in one home.
Beautiful property, every amenity and more. Able to accomodate 9 people. NIce decks outside. Two familes, two units. Easy access to nearby interest sites. Family gathered upstairs for joint meals, big table. 5 adults and four teens. Everyone loved the accomodations.

Perfect Stay, Beautiful Spacious Home
This was the perfect home for the bachelorette party weekend we had for my sister - 10 girls total, and we had plenty of room (and bathrooms!) to feel comfortable and relaxed. There are so many great spaces to hang out in on both floors, and the home is designed so beautifully. Mike is a wonderful host, very easy to reach, super nice, and clearly wants to ensure his guests enjoy their stay - and we certainly did :) Couldn't have been happier!

A family gathering
The house is lovely and comfortable. We were 11 and had room for all to sleep and eat at the table. Mike was especially helpful and installed a 240 electric plug in his garage so we could charge our electric car. There were many amenities that we appreciated such as a well-equipped kitchen, hooks in the bathrooms, and bedside lamps. My only negative was the neighborhood where the house is located which requires driving to go anywhere and is a semi-industrial and modular home park. For a family group this house is ideal.

Superb stay for a week-long adventure
We were here with our parents and siblings for our weekday elopement in Pisgah and I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect stay. Plenty of room and space with the two separate-but-together units, and such a beautiful home and property. It was a spectacular hangout spot and also the perfect home base to hit all the different things we wanted to do in Asheville.

Property was perfect for our family gathering of 10 adults. House is great for a larger group and the separation of the two floors allows for different activities to occur simultaneously. Lastly, it was a short drive to many of Asheville's great activities and downtown. Would definitely stay here again if we return.

Warm and inviting
We really enjoyed the stay at the art house. Our college art majors really appreciated the décor. The students stayed in the basement and were able to stay up late and be loud, and the parents were able to get to sleep upstairs. The kitchen and bathrooms were well appointed. Downtown was about ten minutes away and easily accessible. The property manager responded immediately to one normal house problem we had and it was fixed within an hour. I would definitely return to the house!

Thanksgiving Family Trip
My family drove in from Virginia, Georgia and Arkansas to enjoy time together. We had 4 families including 2 toddlers. When I booked this house, I was hoping that everyone could enjoy the separate living spaces. It was perfect for my kids with small children. The little ones could take naps undisturbed. Going up and down the stairs outside was a non issue. We were able to cook a full Thanksgiving dinner very easily with 2 full kitchens. The kitchens were well appointed with everything we needed. We brought several things from home that we thought we might need but didn’t. When we did need to go grocery shopping, the location was super convenient for that. The fire pit was a big hit and we saw a bear walking through the next door neighbor’s yard. A very good experience and would definitely stay here again! The host was extremely helpful and responsive with any and all questions about the house.

Beautiful and cozy get away
We had a Lovely time at this home. So unique and full of art! The home is Stocked with everything you could need while you stay, the owner really went the extra mile to ensure that his guests are comfortable. The owner is also SUPER responsive to any inquiries you may have while you are at the home. This home is a hop skip and a jump to the downtown are about also nicely tucked away so that you can enjoy some peace at the end of the day. We stayed during the 3rd week of October and the Trees started to turn as we were there so it was extra special! I will def stay here again if we are back in the Ashville area :)
