"Boy did we luck out on a little bit of paradise. Looking for a level place for 86/92 year old parents. You may drive the hills but once you pull in you are LEVEL...Floor to ceiling windows in every bedroom and den. PRIVATE...only the animals can peek in on you! Hot tub, fire pit, large deck, grill ....we lived the life. Morning sunrise, evening moon rise. We had uninterupted views for MILES. Clean, two bathrooms - LOVED LOVED the relaxing home. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a getaway!!"

"Our family had to change houses last minute due to cancellation of our other house. We were not disappointed with the change. House is very clean, property owner has wonderful communication with renters & the parking was big enough for both of our boats. Wonderful stay and highly recommend! "

"Although we were only there to sleep, it was comfortable. The internet is usable but some members did not have phone service while there. There are lots of steps to get around the property but they are all well built and secure. Only issue was we constantly had a few neighbor dogs roaming the property but they didn't bother my service dog. We look forward to staying again during warmer months to experience the water!"

"Cabin was very nice and perfect for our family of 4. Stairs down to the lake were very challenging and steep. Had some power flickers, guessing this is because of utilities work in the area, vut wasn't sure. Power never stayed completely off, was onlh off for a couple seconds each time. Driveway is very steep and loose gravel doesn't help. Better marking at the driveway would be nice to locate the property, pretty much guessed it was it by the looks. "Overall it was a good trip. The location was a little further out from town than we liked. 15 minutes to a DG and 25-30 minutes to fast food. We were running a lot for our stay, so this made it a little inconvenient. The marina restaurant was closed for the season. If you were staying at the lake and cooking, it would work better. "This is our second time staying at the cabin. We have two large dogs and they absolutely love the property and the space to run. The cabin is always so cozy and comfy and we really enjoyed watching the leaves change since we don’t really get fall in Florida. The host was very quick at responding to any questions we may have had. Certainly recommend this spot."

"Wonderful property on Watts-Barr lake with a dock. 3rd year in a row coming down for Labor Day with friends. The dock is awesome for swimming with kiddos and keeping the boat. The boat ramp is only 10 minutes away. The water slide from the top level is thrilling for sure! The house was clean and stocked generously with cookware and dishes. Great views of the sunset and wildlife abound. Definitely on our list of places to come back to. "

"We stayed for a week and loved it! The hosts are welcoming, kind and thoughtful people who obviously create an atmosphere of welcome, comfort and “home”.
