UGA 2025 Graduation

We enjoyed our stay. The apartment was clean and close to UGA and all the graduation activities. Renee was super to work with. We would stay there again!

Great Weekend in Athens!

We had a great weekend in Athens visiting our son and enjoyed our stay in this quaint Normal Town Carriage House. Renee was an excellent host and provided great communication throughout the stay. Property is near UGA… Go Dawgs! The master bed was super comfortable and the neighborhood was nice and quiet. Would definitely stay here again!

Return stay

We have stayed here before, and love the location, the privacy, and the room to spread out. The kitchen is easy to work in and meets all our needs. The couches are comfy and a great place to nap! Renee is an attentive host, and responds quickly to any request.

Super cool Normaltown Digs

We stayed in this property for a UGA Bulldogs football game weekend. The location is GREAT for easy in to downtown but not in all the crowds and noise during a footbal game weekend. Easy to ride bikes or even walk (1.5 miles) or uber. This is a carriage house that is mid century modern style with tons of charm! Renee is an awesome host who is communicative, flexible and happy to offer suggestions. We will DEFINITELY stay here again!

Comfortable Carriage house

Great Home base

My husband and I along with my mid 70 year old parents stayed in this guest house for our daughters graduation. It served us well even with sharing one bathroom. My parents are very active so they were able to handle the steps leading to the apartment. It is located near several shops of normal town that are in walking distance. A very short drive to campus and downtown. Renee and her sister went above and beyond to take care of us if we had questions or needs.

Clean and comfortable

It was a perfect place for game weekend. The owner met us on arrival and ensure that we had everything we needed and told us about the neighborhood. (It was our first time staying in Normaltown). Beds are comfortable, even the one of us who had to sleep on the couch agrees.

Cozy and charming

This property is as described in the listing. Owner was very informative, helpful and quick to respond with any questions I had. Close enough to downtown/UGA campus for quick ride share. Several restaurants close by. Covered parking. We felt safe and appreciated the privacy.

Loved our stay

Renee was really accommodating and communicated with us throughout the trip. The location was perfect and walkable to everything. Her home is cozy and comfortable and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We would stay here again.

Great location, nice style

The Normal Town Cozy Carriage House was located in close walking distance to Normaltown faves (Hi-Lo!) and the place itself had a nice assembly of mid century modern furniture that was well-coordinated. Would stay there again for sure.

Perfect location

Renee was very accommodating and helpful. Her directions were spot on and really great. She met us at check in to walk us through details of the property. She was also very helpful in suggesting places to go. The place was close to pretty much everything. Property was clean and beds very comfortable. Would book again next time we visit Athens.

Wonderful experience

Renee was great! The place is such a creative environment. Beds were comfortable and everything was very clean. There are a few nuances to get use to, but it all made for a very cozy experience.

We loved our stay

My husband and I spent two nights in this we’ll appointed carriage house. Renee thought of everything. The home was clean and comfortable. Checkin and checkout was convenient and well organized. We’ll definitely visit again when we’re stating in Athens.

Great location and host

My friend and I had come in for a race at Road Atlanta and this was a great spot to retreat to. Nearby food and drink can be walked too and Renee went out of her way to make sure we had what we needed.

Very charming place in a great neighborhood

Easy and pleasant walk to Normaltown. The carriage house is very pleasant, and wonderful sense of decor. There are many thoughtful touches, including labels for where to find everything on the very well-appointed kitchen. We’ll definitely look to stay here again on future trips.
