"I was looking for a cabin to spend the weekend with my husband and 2 dogs. The cabin has a warm feel to it. It has games to play, hot tub and sauna. About 50 steps in the back yard is the fire pit then about 100ish steps to the pond. You can’t see the pond from the house but from the hot tub you can! The pond was awesome, there was 2 kayaks, 2 paddle boards and a paddle boat. The kitchen and bathroom are brand new and very nice. I unfortunately gave a two on cleanliness. There was some areas...

"The property is fairly remote, which, to me, is especially nice! It was very welcoming and cozy. Maurine is a wonderful hostess meeting our needs and offering horse rides for my two grandkids. I was here for my dad's funeral. So, all the animals and comfort of the home were very nice. I loved our stay and would definitely recommend this beautiful place. "

"This was an excellent location to host friends. We used the Acorn for a space to get ready for our wedding. We were able to have the wedding party stay with us without feeling on top of each other. There was enough space for the guys to get ready downstairs while we got ready with hair and makeup upstairs. The Acorn was great for pre ceremony photos too. "Beautiful property and home! Lovely view of the lake. Very clean and well appointed. Great for a large family gathering. The yard, grill and firepit were wonderful for outside games and entertaining. Some of the bedrooms were connected in a way that wasn't clear in the pictures, but we made it work. "We had a really fun and relaxing time at the Tiki Retreat. It was a very quiet place with easy access to the Pontiac Rec Area for activities like hiking and archery.
