Better than the Photos
We came with an impression that it would be smaller, but it was much bigger than expected. And it was directly in front of the water. Place was extremely clean and kept well and I can’t say I have any issues from any of it all. Also there’s two bathrooms instead of the listing that says 1

It's not cozy
The best view of the water was from the utili.ty room off the deck. The deck is shared with the family next door, though there's a fence dividing it. I couldn't swim there as it's very shallow. The lighting was glaring. I literally wore sunglasses inside to be comfortable. It was clean. I slept well.

Absolutely relaxing
We deciced tonstay here so that we could have a quiet cabin to literally do nothing. The WiFi is amazing... the cell service was spotty at times but that was great great. 2 golf courses within a 15 minutes drive north & south. If you need to get away... this is your place. Very quiet.. remote but safe... and very spacious for the whole family.

Anniversary getaway
We were looking for a quiet getaway for our anniversary. The view was beautiful and the neighborhood quiet. This rental is attached to another unit. While we had no problems - it was unexpected when we arrived. Overall, we had a nice relaxing time which was exactly what we were looking for.

Romantic weekend
We had a wonderful stay for my birthday weekend. Jeffrey was very responsive to any questions or needs we had and I'd definitely book this house again. It was extremely quiet and comfortable and I'd highly recommend this property.

A very serene, beautiful area with water, wildlife and woods. We loved the view.
Our overall experience was great. But the double sized beds were too small for my husband and me to sleep together. I would have preferred a couch over just chairs.

Convenient location
Property was as shown on site. We were disappointed on the quality of the bedrooms and the bathrooms. Inside the cottage was clean but the windows were needing attention. Most of the furniture and appliances were reasonable quality but the dining room table needs to be upgraded. The owner gave detailed instructions on finding the place and we appreciate the convenience of our location. Thank you very much for the use of your VRBO listing.

Hidden gem
The property is beautiful on its own quiet secluded cove. We hosted dinner for family who were also staying near by and the older kids enjoyed corn hole and using the paddle boat. The swing set and fire pit were a great addition. Our family of five had plenty of space in the duplex and never noticed the neighbors next door, so if that concerns you don’t let it deter you from renting this beautiful property! It was very clean with plenty of bath towels and kitchen utensils. Plenty of stores near by for anything you might have forgotten and Tawas is a quick drive for a day trip. Hopefully we are able to return next year, we loved the lake view!

Great location
A very cozy place! It could be cleaner beginning with the exterior and windows. Fire alarm non-functioning downstairs and none upstairs, no carbon monoxide detector. The bed downstairs was unsleepable....the box spring was broken by someone prior to us and very noticeable, So a 2 bedroom place turned into a 1 bedrroom place. 4 chairs in the living room were broken! Very uncomfortable. The fan system was very dirty causing me bronchitis (upstairs) It was very well equiped, linens clean. We really enjoyed the location but it needs some TLC!

Home away from home
We had a wonderful stay here. A great compromise with a beach, beautiful water views with the sunset for my dad and I, then with a fishing bonus for my husband and our son. They fished every day and caught perch, pike, bass and walleyes. Jeff the owner is so nice and very helpful with anything we needed. A great home away from home.. We definitely will be back.

Beautiful location
The view was absolutely gorgeous. Spending the mornings watching the sunrise and having coffee with family. When we 1st got there the 1st thing we had to do was get a swifter mop because the kitchen floor was very dirty. The listing did not mention anywhere that it was a was a multi family home with people on the other side. There were some electrical issues. The master Bathroom had a tissue stuck in one of the outlets let's so it wouldn't be used. When you turn on the bedroom lights and the living room lights the lights would flicker for 5 to 7 seconds before they'd actually turn on. The master shower was really very dingy and we never wanted to use it so we got a rubber mat so we wouldn't have to stand on the floor because it was very old or dirty we couldn't figure out which one.
