Stunning spot

Great adventure for myself and two sons, Sally was super easy to communicate with and offered lots of great advice/tips for our stay. Lovely homely feel, comfy beds and incredible view! Special thanks for the lift up the hill with our bags!

Great stay in Kawau island

Communication was great with Sally. The house is very clean, and we enjoyed the view from the deck. The house has everything we need. The locals are very friendly; a big shout to Noam, who gave us lifts to the house. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend Sally's house to others.

Perfect spot to relax

We had a wonderful time staying at Sally's place. Great communication from her. The house had everything you'd need, plus stunning views, enjoyed listening to the birds, lovely walks nearby, BBQ on the deck.

Awesome Stay - Will be Back

Kawau is Awesome - The house was awesome (better than expected), immaculately clean, with everything you need. The views were amazing, the locals were top notch. The Host was great to deal with, very well organised with people to take our gear to the house, and for people to contact for different things. if needed. Definitely will be coming back.

Spectacular Location

Access to property is a bit awkward and some of the appliances dated (dish-drawer didn't work, couldn't get TV to work) however the setting and spectacular views over Schoolhouse Bay and across to the Boat Club make up for any minor shortfalls.

Island Retreat

This was our second time staying at Sally’s property and it didn’t disappoint. Beautiful location to soak in the views of Schoolhouse Bay, listen to the birds, stargaze and relax. Easy to get to Mansion House and some of the lovely walks and beaches that Kawau has to offer. Great communication from Sally making sure we had everything we needed. Thank you!

MAGICAL amazing Kawau

Well located property near Schoolhouse bay wharf with AMAZING views. Good taste of what living on the island would be like. Great small community, friendly neighbours - Kelby was a great help with bags to and from the house. Sally's enthusiasm for the island and communications through out the process made it very easy and enjoyable Only thing to note - it is a steep climb to the property , but we were aware and that's why the neighbours help was invaluable. Thankyou.

Time at Sally's house on Kawau Island

We had a great time at Sally's place. The house has an amazing view of Schoolhouse Bay. The house is comfortable and very quiet. The kids loved jumping off the wharf. We enjoyed our walk over to Mansion House. We also got a lift over to the Boat Club which served good food and had lots of character. It was good to see and hear various birds and we even saw a wallaby. I felt the island had a welcoming atmosphere and I would like to go back some time!

Peace of paradise

Wow! Absolutely beautiful the veiw, the beds and everything you possibly could need. The access to Mansion House and other walks to beaches were perfect. The 3 of us thoroughly enjoyed our time here oh there was one thing we weren't happy about and that was that it wasn't longer, Thankyou. 😁

Views at beautiful Kawau

Great place to base ourselves for 3 nights as we walked and swam to bays accessible on foot from property, took our dingy to the boat club or sailed to another bay. I had seen the bach prior to booking so knew about the steep stairs but also the great views from the deck. Sally was quick on text in the lead up with any questions and helped coordinate a neighbour to assist with our gear getting back to the wharf. Kawau is a gem, don't delay in visiting!
