We stayed here for my son's graduation from UT and it was awesome! A super cool neighborhood that was close to everything and the house itself was spacious and comfortable. Would definitely stay again!

Gorgeous house was home away from home.
Thank you Paula for making our stay so wonderful! We all had a very comfortable, enjoyable experience staying in your property. The house, I must say, was very pretty and exceptionally clean and tidy. Every couple in our party had their own ensuite which felt like a luxury. For my part, I slept like a log (memory foam mattress was a pleasant surprise, and black-out curtains). Great, central location (15 minute walk to South Congress street and $7 Lyft to downtown). Actually, we hardly drove anywhere, we just took Lyfts and walked - nice trails nearby. Paula, the host, was very responsive and helpful - she replied immediately when we asked for help using the hot-tub. We cooked breakfast and ate it on the table on the front lawn (it was gloriously sunny) which was a real treat to begin the day with. Also, loved playing Austin monopoly by the fireplace in the evening (we didn't really need it on it was so warm but it made such a nice atmosphere. Overall, really pleasant, fun, comfortable experience - would recommend!

Wonderful home in the perfect location!
Our trip to Austin was so amazing thanks to booking this VRBO! It was the perfect size for our group, very nicely furnished, awesome location to everything and private all at the same time. The owner was very easy to communicate with and the home was everything I expected and more. Would highly recommend! Such a treat.

Owner Intruded On Our Stay, Kept Deposit without Explanation, and Won't Return Our Belongings
We stayed at this property while on a golf trip in Austin. This trip started well, but I received a voicemail on the second day while our group was at TopGolf that the owner needed a purse she left at the house (by the full, inaccessible laundry room it appeared she lived here) for a party that night. Without consent, she went to the property and entered while all of our belongings were there. As a group, we felt that our privacy had been violated. The owner proceeded to call several times, sounding intoxicated and continued to harass us about the ins and outs of the property during our stay. On our third day, we received a call that she was once again inside the property without notice or consent, and was planning to take the key from the lockbox so we could not return because there was a drink can left out on the back deck near the hot tub and she was concerned about an animal infestation. Her continued harassment throughout the trip ruined it for our group as a whole, especially considering the price we paid for a relaxing weekend. Spending time reasoning with her leave the key so we could get our belongings completely robbed us of the anticipated enjoyment of the vacation. As mature adults, this wasn't something we expected to encounter on our planned relaxed weekend of golf, and the demeanor of the owner was ridiculous and offensive. Upon leaving the property, I received an e-mail that our deposit would not be refunded. The e-mail did not list any reasoning or justification , and VRBO refused to provide details claiming their discussions with the homeowner were protected by their "privacy agreements". So, our privacy was invaded, which VRBO didn't find wrong, and we lost our hefty deposit without reasoning. Even worse and the icing on the cake of our horrible stay, I asked if the homeowner would be willing to ship a shirt and electric beard trimmer that were accidentally left at the property. I agreed to pay an additional fee as she requested to ship the items, knowing she had already kept the deposit, and after 3 months she has yet to return them. She is holding our items and has now stopped responding. I've never had such a poor experience with a homeowner, and would offer the advice to any prospective renter to save yourself the pain and anguish and find another property. I plan to work with my bank on the deposit refund, but that will not reimburse the money spent for such a poor stay. DEPOSIT NOT REFUNDABLE???

Home away from home
We came to Austin for a convention and stayed at this beautiful home. My family of 6 was very comfortable at this home during our stay. Each bedroom has it's own bathroom, which was a major plus. The beds were absolutely comfortable, which was a welcomed treat after a long day of activities. Sleeping comfortably while traveling ranks high up on my personal needs list and these beds delivered. The home is very well taken care of, it was very clean with nice furnishings and decor. The kitchen is well stocked with the necessities for cooking meals if you choose to do so. There was plenty of room for my family members to spread out and relax. The location was perfect for the activities we were planning to do while in town. It's conveniently located to anyplace you need to go. The neighborhood is so cute! The street was quiet. We really didn't see the neighbors, maybe we missed them as we came and went at different times. The owner (who was on her own vacation at the time) checked in with me while we were there to make sure we were comfortable in her home. The property manager was very responsive on the day we left town as I had some departing questions. I can't review the hot tub as we did not use it when we were there. The washer and dryer were very helpful as we knew we could travel with less clothes because we knew we could wash them at the house. If we ever make it back to Austin, this is the place I will stay!! You will not be disappointed!

Homey + Luxurious
I came to this beautiful, cozy home with a group of friends for a reunion and it was one of the best trips we had in while! I would highly recommend this for a close group of friends or family. We came to visit Austin the city, but it honestly was hard not to be a homebody and stay in because the house was so nice! It was: -Very clean but not sterile -Unexpectedly spacious... 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, large double beds. It looks kind of small from the front but it's quite big! -Fully stocked with all the usual amenities -Nice and warm with a gas fireplace (crucial, as it was unexpectedly cold in Austin the week we were there) -Quirkily decorated in jewel tones with original art and vintage posters -In a nice and quiet neighborhood, but just minutes from I35 and South Congress. But most importantly... There was a hot tub! The highlight of our trip was definitely the 5 of us sitting under the Texan stars and talking late into the night. Plus, Paula was really nice and responsive. She offered us a lot of tips about the area, and the full deposit was returned shortly after we checked out.
