Simply Awesome Stay
Lisa did a great job and the Glass Trreehouse is a true treasure! Views of a valley below and of a hill above and very tasteful decor inside. Its location is somewhat secluded. Very special- all of us can't wait to come back!

Long Weekend With Family Was Great
I stayed at this great property with my family for a long weekend. I have a 3 year old that stayed in the room connected to the master, which worked very well. I was also able to fit my 6 month old’s crib in the master closet. It was great!

Beautiful house in top area of Austin
We loved everything about this house. Every room is beautiful decorated with lots of windows and skylights. The outdoor area was equally amazing. We loved being able to walk to a number of places and having a short drive to endless restaurants and hot spots in Austin. Lisa was extremely responsive and provided many great recommendations. 5 stars!

A MUST STAY!!!
Impressive from the time you walk through the doors! Stop for a minute and admire Lisa’s beautiful carpentry and creativity. Everything is perfectly and intentionally placed for harmony and function. The rooms are comfortable and well thought out. Lisa is a fabulous host and made sure we were comfortable and had everything you need. Just in case anyone is in a wheelchair, we were able to bring my Mother in law over and had no problems with her thin wheelchair getting around. My son said, “I’m going to miss this place and I can’t wait to come back!” My husband and I couldn’t have said it better. Thank you Lisa! Best, Jennifer and Keith

College Roommates Weekend
A wonderful spot!! Such a fantastic house with so many cute and unique touches - we had the best time sitting in the cozy living room drinking coffee or wine and catching up. House had everything we could need and was incredibly clean. Lots of space and comfy beds. Within walking distance or a short drive to so many restaurants. And a great walking/hiking path just across the street. I can’t recommend enough!!

Great location, lovely deck, otherwise....misleading description, overpriced and poorly maintained
We were disappointed with this vacation rental apartment. While the location and deck space were appealing, the overall experience fell short of expectations. I have been a vacation rental host for 10 years and speak from experience. The listing was misleading: We believed we were booking a single-family home, not an apartment in a duplex. This was a major factor in our decision. The late-night arrival of other guests confirmed this was not a private residence. The listing also falsely advertises a pool.While the apartment does have 5 rooms with beds in them, most would consider only 2 of them to be traditional bedrooms. Of the other bedrooms, two are very small, and the final room is really the TV / entertainment room. There is only space for 2 cars to park. Price to quality poor: while the owner prices based on location and season, for the price we paid (thousand / night), the quality is poor. The linens are worn, the closets lacked hangers, there were no bathmats, the teapot was broken, many doors did not close properly, and the master bathroom toilet is malfunctioning. Excessive pet fee: We had a non-shedding dog in the house for 2 nights and the owner charged us a hefty pet fee outside the norm I have experienced at other rentals. Maintenance items stored in living space: the master closet had paint cans stored in it and we could smell the fumes. Crowded with bric-a-brac: this is an aesthetic opinion, but we found the house cluttered with “decorations”.

Amazing property!
We gathered at this home with family from all corners of the US. The accommodations were outstanding, just as beautiful as the lovely photos, and Lisa thought of everything we might need. The location was perfect, just adjacent to Zen Zilker Park with a ten mile hike and bike trail and walkable to canoe, kayak and bike rentals. We were also quite close to lots of great food trucks, restaurants and museums. We really enjoyed our visit and highly recommend the spacious and beautiful Glass Treehouse!

Home was just as described…. Absolutely gorgeous! Perfect fall getaway and walkable to many restaurants and trails. The outdoor patio was a gem! Truly a very tranquil place to regenerate. Host in constant communication and even provided maps, tips and suggestions of restaurants and places to see. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend.!

Girls Getaway Perfection
I can’t say more wonderful things about this amazing rental and our time in Austin. We had a group of 7 women (besties from college) traveling from all over the US to reunite for a fun girls weekend. We love to shop, be active, eat good food and listen to live music - making Austin an excellent destination. When we saw this rental on VRBO, we knew it would be perfect. Not only is the decor so incredibly unique, I honestly don’t know if there’s a better rental location in Austin. We were a quick walk to the amazing Barton Springs and Zilker Park. You can even follow an easy walking path into downtown. SoCo shopping and restaurants are a quick car ride away (maybe 5-10 min) as are downtown attractions. Really anywhere you want to go is no more than a 5-10 min ride. The host provided a detailed and thoughtful information packet upon booking to help us get a lay of the land (i.e. restaurants, activities, etc nearby). She allowed for an early check-in for a minimal fee and she was so attentive with her communication. We had some fun hats made for our trip and she let us ship them to her and then she personally delivered them to the rental to ensure we received them. Top notch service! We had a truly memorable weekend whether exploring around town or lounging on the awesome porch. You will not regret booking this rental.

IMMACULATE property. Just as described. Incredibly clean accommodations, well appointed kitchen, comfortable sleeping arrangements and lovely decor. Host was very helpful and responsive. The BEST VRBO!
I rented this VRBO for my Operations Team to have our yearly meeting. The home was spacious, plenty of beds, lots of bathrooms, a great outdoor space, and relaxing environment. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone looking for a great home away from home.

Quiet. Clean. Cool Vibe.
The host was responsive. The space is the upper level of a duplex. Views amazing. Loved the option for indoor or outdoor meeting space. Private. Well appointed. Light and airy environment. Couple things to note: the park across the street has an entrance fee which we weren’t expecting. Additionally, we expected to walk to the local restaurants but there were not paved sidewalks leading from the house.

PERFECT for our Family!
Such a beautiful and inviting home! Ample space for our family with gorgeous sky lights throughout and a fun rustic modern vibe. The location is walking distance to Barton Springs pool for swimming and Zilker Park for hiking along the trails. We had an amazing time and will definitely be returning soon!

Firstly, I cannot say enough about the location. It’s close to everything, but still off the beaten path. The Owner was attentive and easy to get ahold of for anything. The house was clean and beautiful and they paid attention to the smallest details to ensure our stay was amazing ! Definitely add this to your list of “where I have to stay”!!
