Property is decent for price, HOWEVER, they knew - before we arrived- that the faucet for the hot water in the property’s ONLY bathroom was broken and didn’t warn us. After a 16-hour overseas flight, I went to give my child a bath at about 8:30pm to find this. I immediately texted the after hours contact, who told me flat out that they were AWARE of this problem and ‘hopefully maintenance will have it fixed tomorrow.’ I requested a refund for the night(s) with no access to hot water in the bathtub and was told ‘it’s not our fault that the maintenance hasn’t been done.’
The next day, our contact from the company, Ames, emailed to make sure our check in was ok. I told her about the issue and she seemed similarly unconcerned and completely ignored my request for a refund. Although maintenance did show up the next day and fixed the problem, just the fact that they knew about it and didn’t tell us, and THEN gave me a line of BS worthy of a lazy teenager when I requested that they take financial responsibility for their mistake is not the sort of behaviour anybody on vacation should have to deal with.
I come to Austin quite regularly, and will never use this company again.
