Secluded quiet property.
Nicely equipped and very clean property. Stay was quiet and we didn’t need for any additional features. Nice place for hosting a bar-b-que with friends. Highly recommend this place as a return to property.

A Nice Little Break
We had a wonderful time. The property was very clean and we loved all the lights on the trees outside and in the enclosed patio. There were some board games and it was great just to sit back and unwind. Thank you so much for making this quick getaway for our family so fun.

Peaceful Weekend Retreat
We were extremely pleased with our vrbo getaway. Although that leg of the lake was dry, we enjoyed the beautiful rolling hills on the porch swing. We were also pleased to sleep on a comfortable bed, and our hosts answered all questions quickly. We would rent this property again!

Perfect setting!
Gender Reveal of our first grandchild! Great open space. Too hot to go outside for very long but everyone was comfortable inside. Sitting on the covered porch that evening with the fans going was comfortable and so peaceful. We slept like babies on the super comfortable bed. Coffee on the porch in the morning was just as peaceful. If back in the area we will defiantly stay here again.

Perfect place to un-plug for the weekend
The host were incredibly helpful. The property itself was gorgeous and it was the perfect place for us to unplug and relax for Father’s Day weekend. The location is perfect and just a short drive from tons of attractions. We cannot wait to plan our next stay.

Cozy and clean getaway
I felt at ease the moment we stepped inside. The space was very well laid out. Loved the decor and open windows looking over the landscape. Felt like I could relax! Kathleen was very easy to contact as well. Great stay.

Beware: description and pictures are misleading.
***The house has an ac unit not central air. There is NOT a unit in the master bedroom. It never got cool enough to be able to sleep in. The only way to get into the spare bedroom is from *OUTSIDE and the only entrance to the spare bathroom is also outside with no ac. We had have a 3 and a 1 year old that we planned on sleeping in the spare room but that wasn’t an option once we realized it wasn’t accessible from the inside of the house. I was upset. This needs to be fixed on the description. We had all four of us piled in a room because of this. If it hadn’t been for Memorial Day weekend and other places open we would have left. The grass was not cut. The furniture is light so you can see how dirty it is. I’m still upset about this. I feel tricked. the poor description and that they think the ac situation is okay is ridiculous.

My family really enjoyed the property, plenty of room for my boys and dog to run around. The best part was feeling like you are in the country but minutes to stores and restaurants. I would definitely come back!

Great quiet getaway
We reserved this property over the Thanksgiving holiday. Overall the home was great. It was very comfortable. Check-in and check-out process was super easy and communication with the owner was clear and hyper-responsive. The owner proactively let me know that the 2nd bedroom was detached from the main home as they knew my children were staying. They are adult children so it was not a problem but I really appreciated the owner thinking of this. The best part of this property is the backyard where there is plenty of room, large trees, a fire pit, and a nice screened-in porch area. Once the lake fills back up it will be even better but we didnt mind. Just sitting by the fire pit with my family gazing at the stars was perfect.

Property as described/pictured--older home with updated interior, large yard, on lake (dry at time of visit) that is quiet and somewhat remote but 15-20 minutes from most of what you need. Hosts attentive and responsive to concerns--would stay again.

Peaceful Getaway
Wife and I took a week away from Dallas to work remotely and relax from this property. It was fantastic and exactly what we expected. We knew of the drought and lack of lake water so no surprises there…property was tranquil and reminiscent of a mid century home just as listed. Owners were very responsive and the process seamless. We will return in the future.
