Golden Girls Getaway
Our stay at the Brushy Bend VRBO could not have been better. The hosts have a very clean and welcoming house which is exactly as it is portrayed on the website. No surprises here. They made the check-in and check-out easy and were very accomodating and friendly. We had a great time and would definitely come back and stay there.

Perfect place!
We really enjoyed our stay at this house that backs up to a river. The river dam is right behind the house so you can hear the rush of a small waterfall in the backyard. Very peaceful. Nice kitchen for cooking family meals, which we did because we didn’t want to leave. Paddle boat and kayaks on site. The owner was beyond nice and readily available to deal with any questions.

Nice and Peaceful Stay
We stayed at this home for a business trip. Although it's close to everything, it feels very removed from the busyness of the city. Back yard was very nice with a great secluded view of the river. We kayaked and used the paddleboat. House was vwry clean and haf everything we needed. Zero negatives. Great stay. Thanks!

Family Gathering
Loved everything about this comfortable, family home. Check in was easy and having the owner nearby was a perk. Beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space for the 7 of us. The view was pretty. The kids enjoyed the paddle boat and watching the beautiful birds by the water and the deer roaming the neighborhood. Perfect stay for us!

House was awesome. Top 5 VRBO we have stayed in. It was perfect for the 3 couples. Quite neighborhood. Great location for all things in round rock. Georgetown. House was clean and as advertised!!!!! Would definitely stay her again.

We loved our stay at this beautiful home. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was fantastic. The creek in the back was peaceful and teaming with fish and birds. The paddle boat made for a fun way to take it all in.

Perfection!
I’ve stayed in lots of short term rentals, but this home was the best by far. The home was immaculate and spacious! The room arrangement offered lots of places for our six people to gather, and the furniture was very comfortable., as were the beds. Now for the outside…even better than the inside! It felt like our own private resort. It had a lush green lawn, cozy fire pit, a tree swing, and a fun paddle boat. We enjoyed the large patio where we could look out at the river and surrounding trees. Gary was such a thoughtful host. Brought us more firewood for the outdoor pit when we ran out. He was at our beck and call. Don’t miss your opportunity to stay here!

Beautiful & Relaxing Water Views
Property was very nice, clean, well equipped with lots of amenities. Host had instructions and helpful hints. All the beds are queen size, would have been really nice to have one King size but all beds were comfortable. The beds were higher so you might need a step stool if you’re not used to a higher bed. Sitting at the fire pit by the water was so relaxing and there was a fan to keep the breeze moving. Younger adults had fun with water activities. We would stay there again.

Nice rooms and bathrooms. Beautiful view. Lots of wildlife (deer, cows, birds). Paddle boat and paddle boards for water fun. Also a fishing pole and supplies. Very nice long weekend.

Perfect Texas Stay
We stayed here between Christmas and New Years (and forgot to do a timely review). It was a perfect property. It’s a little far out but that makes it peaceful, and it was still within 10 minutes of groceries and restaurant. The house was beautifully appointed with comfortable furniture, decorated for the holidays and really comfy. The creek side location was idyllic and we enjoyed using the peddleboat.

Everything was wonderful with a few exceptions. There was a note on the fireplace that it was out of order. The bar-b-que grill was not clean, and the outside patio area needs to be cleaned. The accommodations work very well for 3 couples.

Beautiful location
Beautiful home, it was nice and clean. There was wildlife that you could see in the mornings. It was a peaceful and quiet location. We enjoyed our stay. I had to give a 4 star on listing because it listed a futon in the bedroom but there was just a single chair, so my girls had to share a bed and they fight. But over all it was a very nice place to stay with excellent views of the creek.

Home away from Home on the Creek
The home is amazing and so clean. The home has new flooring since our stay at the property in September 2020. We love it here. There is access to anything you would like from walking trails, parks, shopping at the outlet malls, or just relaxing at the home by the fire pit or on the water. The convenience and location of the property if perfect. Gary and Mary along with cat Rosie are adorable and ready to make your stay all that you need it to be. We love this property, this is our second stay and plan to return in August.

The home is beautiful and the owners have added some personalized touches that make the stay even more comfortable. The location cannot be beat. It’s just the right mix of hill country river getaway with all the amenities of being in a neighborhood. Easy access to a ton of activities. Our girls loved the chickens and we had fresh eggs to eat every morning, and the owners were incredibly helpful and made sure everything was in place for a wonderful vacation.

Relaxation in Round Rock
This has to be one of the best properties hat I've stayed in!!!! The house is nicely laid out, well appointed and with all the basics in the kitchen. There were only two of us and the house can certainly accomodate more, but we thoroughly enjoyed this property. The master bedroom and the den looks out over the water and lots of wildlife to watch from ducks, herons, egrets, deer, lots of deer!!!! The master bedroom is a nice size, the master bath is quite large, with both a nice shower and a separate jetted tub. The fire pit is right by the water and was already stocked so all we had to do was light it. There are tons of nice walking/biking trails nearby as well. The only thing a would recommend is putting in a smart tv so quests have access to streaming, otherwise, the house is about perfect for a long weekend stay :D

Such a relaxing getaway!
Our family had a great time in this beautiful home. We wanted to see deer on this trip and we sure did! It is such a peaceful spot with a lovely waterview. We enjoyed sitting creekside and fishing. Don't bring a cheap pole - a huge catfish broke my line! Gary was a great host!

Everything was as advertised. It is amazing how close to the water we were. Considering COVID-19 time, we felt safe and the property was extremely clean. The owners were very responsive and extremely friendly. We will be back.
