"The cottage is extremely well kitted out, with a top class tea room and small general store in the village, just 40 metres away. There's no garden but enough room to sit outside at the front and have an evening drink. We didn't try the pub but it's worth looking at the reviews for it 😊 Fantastic walking from the door, and if the weather is good you can even swim in the river across the fields."

"cottage well equipped & tastefully furnished, very cozy & comfy with a lovely view over sheep pasture. although we felt tucked away we enjoyed pubs and cafes in walking distance."

"The cottage is in the perfect location. Two pubs and several cafes are within walking distance and there are also several walks on the doorstep. Reeth is an excellent spot to base yourself for exploring the dales. The cottage itawl"

"Very pretty and had all we needed for self catering. Maybe a baking sheet, smaller saucepan and a baking dish would have been useful - not a big deal!Lovely to be next to the beck, loads of birds to watch and interesting places to visit.Drive from The Tan Inn to Hawes not for the faint hearted, narrow and very steep.Noticed a funny mark in the oven which I couldn't clean so emailed the office and someone came the next day to clean it - excellent.
