"This house is beautiful and clean. The multi-level home well accommodated our family of 11. The location was perfect for access to Lake Vermillion. The kitchen was well supplied with everything we needed. The beach area was great and the kids enjoyed the lily pad and swing set. We used the kayaks, canoe, hot tub and sauna. Moccasin Point was a close boat ramp to launch our boat and the dock at the property made our fishing days easy. By the way, we did have fishing success! The property manager...

The space was perfect for my mom and I to have some privacy from each other at night but still be close. The fridge was a nice size for being a mini fridge. "We enjoyed our stay, it’s a nice location and clean. Kitchen was fully stocked which we appreciated because some say it is and then don’t even have the basics! Towels, paper goods and treats were plentiful! Communication was great with host. "

The Island had a good breeze, so the mosquitos were almost non-existent, and the trees are tall and plentiful for shade and a good resting place for a bald eagle one morning we were there. We rented the owners fishing boat and it was very nice for checking out the the different islands and bays. "We had an amazing time staying at the cabin on Loon Island. The cabin is beautiful, and is in fantastic condition. It has a full kitchen with all the pots, pans, plates, utensils, etc. you will need for cooking. The solar powered lights work extremely well, and we never had an issue using lights at night and charging devices during the day/night. "This is our second time staying here and we had just as wonderful experience! Great communication by the host was helpful. The rental is in an ideal location, being close to town, bike trail and lake. Excellent neighborhood to walk in. Perfect and roomy for our two families. Nature right out the back door too…we saw a Timberwolf (out of window in distance) one morning and deer often. Highly recommend and hope to return myself one day. "

"This property was a great base camp for a day trip into the Boundary Waters. We were hosting out of town family and our usual full canoe trip wasn’t a fit. We loved this tiny house, and it had everything we needed. We had 4 married couples plus a single and we all slept comfortably. The kitchen had what we needed to cook as well. The screen porch was generous in size, and was thoroughly enjoyed. "

"We had an amazing time staying at the cabin on Loon Island. The cabin is beautiful, and is in fantastic condition. It has a full kitchen with all the pots, pans, plates, utensils, etc. you will need for cooking. The solar powered lights work extremely well, and we never had an issue using lights at night and charging devices during the day/night. Showering is simple using the collected rain water in the barrels outside and a battery powered shower head.Having the boat is awesome, and works very well for fishing and simply exploring the lake. It's a small motor so you won't be zipping around the lake, but it serves its purpose very well. We also enjoyed using the paddle boat and canoe.Outside the cabin there is also a firepit with a grill attachment that we loved to use, a charcoal grill, and a gas grill. There are a couple different places to hangout and have great views of the sunset as well. It is incredibly peaceful listening to the loons as the sun goes down.We had no issues organizing our stay with Neil and the caretaker Rob, and it was very easy checking in and out.Overall, our stay was wonderful. It exceeded our expectations, and we will definitely be back."
