"John is an excellent host! We had a great stay, caught a lot of small fish off the pier, but no big ones - this time! this was our dogs first vacation, and it was the perfect stay for her too... there's a fenced in yard, so she could do her thing, off leashwe'll certainly be back to stay again! "

"We had a wonderful family vacation! The house is large enough for a family yet still has a cozy layout to give everyone individual space. The kitchen is will equipped for cooking and a nice grill outside. A large deck with a huge dock for swimming and boating. Easy to communicate with the owners whom are nice and accommodating. A beautiful home with a gorgeous view of the lake and I will definitely rent again!"

"We selected the apartment since it was in the country and would make us feel at home. The space was all we needed as we attended an event in Denton and explored Gold Hill. We enjoyed being able to walk around the town, do some shopping, met a few locals and had a comfortable place to stay. The visiting hummingbirds on the front porch/deck of the apartment were a joy to watch. The owners made us feel very welcome and were available to us if needed. "

"Our stay at Sunrise on Badin was perfect! The house is very well stocked with pretty much anything you could need for your stay. Especially the kitchen. Beds are super comfortable. We didnt utilize the downstairs at all, mainly because we had a toddler with us and we had to try to keep her away from the stairs. The baby gates they had were very much appreciated. We brought our own boat and the dock was perfect. We enjoyed using the kayak and jumping off the top deck of the dock. Paul the owner...

The home is even cuter and quainter than the photos show, and the property felt very private—perfect for a relaxing weekend getaway. "Second year staying here for the Jeep Jamboree. Very nice small house on the lake. Two bedrooms and one bath. Nice patio to sit out on nice evenings. Appreciate being able to check in after Noon as we traveled from VA. Have everything you could need in the kitchen and bathroom. Bunk beds in one room and large bed in 2nd bedroom. Plenty of sheets, towels, etc. WiFi was good and we did watch a couple movies in the evening on their Amazon/HBO package."

"Wow!! I wish I could take that kitchen home with me. Plenty of space throughout so the stay included my wife and kids, my brothers wife and kids, mom, dad, and aunt. We never felt over crowded, love having the floating mats for the water. We also got to use the fire pit as well which was perfectly situated."
