"The most idyllic cottage stay, exactly what I was looking for. Ideal location for quiet walks with my dogs in every direction from the cottage, didn't need to take the car out once! Liz was absolutely amazing, gave me some suggestions for local walks and communicated the check in process and cottage location. We will definitely be back. "

Relativamebte cerca de Edinburgo y otras zonas de interés como St Andrews. "Really enjoyed our time in the property. Very cosy once we had the heating going. Everything you need in the kitchen for a short break and Fiona was incredibly kind leaving eggs, bread and milk for us as well. Super relaxing for us and our dog. "

"The apartment was overall very good, only let down by a poorly fitted kitchen tap, which was very wobbly but worked. We appreciated the supplied teabags, sachets of coffee, soap, towels etc. The deposit system was a bit confusing - I expected to see a £250 payment on my card to be followed by a refund, but it seems they just held the card details "in case" so I guess no charge will be made now, after over a week. The location was very convenient, only a few minutes' walk from the station, V&A,...

"What can we say ? An absolute find of a place ! Amazing weekend away with friends and this beautiful house absolutely made it. "Holmlea cottage is the perfect Base to visit the Edinburgh area and the highland region arround perth. The cottage was very clean and we loved the antiques inside. Freuchie is a perfect Base to visit the region, to visit Edinburgh by train also, next rail station is very close. Hosts are so kind and communication was easy and quick, we can write only best and positive feed back. Thanks for that great vacation time."
