"Part of the charm of this great B&B is finding and getting to it. The road gets narrower and narrower, and you are very aware of the charms of rural Ireland. The B&B was well maintained and clean. There is a den downstairs and access to an outdoor space, but we did not use during stay. Our room was basic but very comfortable, spacious enough for two beds, and had a lovely view. "It was a beautiful little cottage and was perfect for us. We loved the location it was in the middle of most of the sights we wanted to see. The owner was great with communication and checked in with us to make sure we didn't need anything. They also gave us recommendations for shopping that we appreciated. "

"I’d like to say that our experience met our expectations on this property, but it actually exceeded it. The property was remote and extremely peaceful, with direct access to a beach for long walks. There were 5 family members and the house was quite spacious. It was exactly what we were looking for. Dermot was an absolute gentleman of a host, and was quick to reply to any concerns or questions we had. We definitely plan to return to Dolphin Cottage!"

"We loved our stay in Carrigaholt, owner of Morriseys bar was so helpful, had delicious dinner and drinks at The Long Dock and so enjoyed our morning coffee at the Baryard Coffee trailer a block from us. It was a highlight of our vacation!"

"We stayed at the second property on the site, Lavender Lane Cottage, which was a lovely newly refurbished 200 year old cottage. It had three double bedrooms(one upstairs) an open plan kitchen, dining area and living area which was all minimalistic but modern and had every amenity we needed for our stay (Con even left us tea/coffee/bread and milk) We felt at home straightaway and all said we could live there. The bathroom was again modern in an old worldly setting, with plenty of hot water...
