"We had a problem accessing the security key numbers - x2 - necessary to get into the property. Hotels.com app failed and both tel calls and emails to the owner failed for over 2 hours. Finally got access. Will probably mean that I won’t stay in accommodation that doesn’t have a front desk in future. Otherwise a comfortable stay near centre of town. Clean, quiet with plenty of room. Missing coffee pods in supplies left for guests. Thank you."

"We stayed in Cottage A as a family of 6. It is a very beautiful cottage and it was set up with a beautiful Christmas tree. The host was very friendly and helpful, and had the fire in the living room set up burning already, and the hot tun already set up ready to go. It was very clean and everything is very modern and just beautiful. Unfortunately we didnt get to spend much time admiring the views because it was raining a and very windy/ cold. Without the kids we could have done more exploring...

"Gorgeous place! Stayed for my boyfriends birthday and he loved it. Great attention to detail and spotless. The view is stunning. If you want to stay here - I wouldn’t suggest it if you don’t drive as it on a hill that would be difficult to get to if not. For us this was great as the experience felt private."

"Reached out days before arrival to get check in information and Had lockbox for key. Bread, pancakes, mini muffins with butter provided. Used notebook left for instructions on check out. Only one bathroom for 9 people in 5 bedrooms. Located 30 minutes driving time to Belfast. Parking on street or at church. Very cute cafe shop located across the streets with delicious fresh homemade donuts. Room were clean."

"We had a fabulous stay at Ashside Cottage. We were welcomed by Richard and Caroline who gave us a tour of the house and filled us in on places of interest in and around the area. The cottage was beautiful with parts dating from 16th century. It had everything we needed, including home baked bread. "On our last night, after playing golf at Royal County Down, we had no hot water. We informed the owner and asked if he had determined the cause of the problem? After two efforts, we heard nothing. "The best rental place we have ever stayed in! Everything and more was provided and all top quality, definitely a home from home. Janet is an excellent host and couldn’t do enough for us the welcome gift was a lovely touch. The views are to die for and even with the not so good Irish weather we still managed to do so much.
