Lovely place
Dan and Iwona are lovely hosts who made us feel welcome straightaway, giving advice about what to see/do but also very discreet. We very much appreciated the little presents (wine, baguette, homemade jam, ...) waiting for us in the kitchen of our well-equipped house. Beautiful gardens with a refreshing pool we shared with the guests from the other gite. There are lots of things to do in this area: visiting castles, markets, gardens, bike tours etc. We recommend the place whole-heartedly and would like to thank our hosts for creating this peaceful place.

Wonderful gite in a beautiful area.
We had a fantastic week in this lovely gite. It is very well appointed and the gardens are beautiful! There is so much to do in the area and we wish we could have stayed for longer. Our hosts were so welcoming and on hand if we needed them, without being intrusive. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Séjour au top dans la nature
Nous avons passé un excellent séjour de 15 jours au calme chez Dan et Iwona. La piscine est superbe , entourée d’un parc magnifique et bien entretenu avec des fleurs et des arbres somptueux. Nos hôtes sont super sympathiques et aux petits soins pour rendre votre séjour le plus agréable possible. Je recommande.

Séjour exceptionnel
Nous avons passé un séjour de rêve. La maison ,l’immense jardin,la piscine, tout est très propre. La propriétaire a aménagé la maison avec beaucoup de soin...il ne manque rien. Le jardin est très bien entretenu et la piscine est super. Les propriétaires sont très sympas tout en étant discrets. Nous y retournerons avec plaisir.

Ein Paradies
Es ist mit Abstand das schönste und erholsamste Feriendomizil, das wir je hatten. Wir hatten aufgrund der Fotos und Beschreibungen sehr hohe Erwartungen und wurden kein bisschen enttäuscht. Die sehr, sehr netten Eigentümer haben das weiträumige Gelände mit gärtnerischer Fantasie und viel Liebe zum Detail angelegt. Die Wohnung ist geschmackvoll und zugleich praktisch eingerichtet und der große, sehr gepflegte Pool ist einfach wunderbar. In ausgezeichneten Betten und absoluter Ruhe (von der zweiten Ferienwohnung und der Wohnung der Eigentümer ist nichts zu hören) konnten wir herrlich ausschlafen. Ein Paradies! Danke an Iwona und Dan für zwei wunderbare Ferienwochen – wir kommen wieder!

Perfect for a relaxing holiday
We had a very relaxed stay at Peace in France. The property was well placed and we enjoyed heading to the nearby towns for sight seeing and the restaurants. The owners were in hand for any questions we had or for assistance.The gite was immaculate and had everything we needed for our two week stay. The pool area was spotless and the gardens and grounds were well maintained and looked beautiful. We spent more time in the gite and by the pool than we have in previous visits to France and managed to relax with just the sound of birds and crickets. I would highly recommend Peace in France.

Calme bien équipé, bien placé...
Tres bon accueil des propriétaires qui sont au petits soins en sachant rester discrets. Maison très bien entretenue, joli jardin très agréable avec piscine impeccable. Literie parfaite. Dan und Iwona sind Gastgeber, welche beste Voraussetzungen für einen entspannten und gelungenen Aufenthalt vor Ort schaffen. Wein, Brot, Butter und Obst empfangen den Gast bei der Ankunft und die Wohnung ist bestens vorbereitet - auch im Hinblick auf die aktuellen Hygienevorgaben. Beautiful and extremely well kept property and accomodation near Lalinde, a cute lively village on the border of the Dordogne. Near all the main sites of Perigord but away from the crowds. Very clean and great beds.

An excellent apartement in a wonderful garden
The large apartment in the small cottage in Périgord is a wonderful place to spend a relaxing holiday. Furniture, equipment and bathroom are very stylish and match the extraordinary ensemble. In addition, there is a magnificent pool and a fantastic garden with a wide view over the countryside. Dan and Iwona welcomed us very friendly and are attentive hosts who take care of everything in an excellent way. Both are always there when questions arised in rare cases. With them you can laugh, have a good time and spend a very, very pleasant holiday. Just great!

Lovely and calm place, wonderful hosts
We stayed in the two bedroom gîte for a week in late August and are still charmed and amazed by the time we spent in this brand new gîte and with our hosts Iwona and Dan - without forgetting Bum Bum, Bob, and George. By the way, our daughter (17 months) still asks us, where Bum Bum ("Toutou") is. The place is great, the gîte brand new and arranged with love for the details. The pool is just in front of the gîte's door and there is a beautiful space to have lunch and dinner outside. The location is also perfect in the Périgord Pourpre: within a max 30 minutes drive from the gîte you can visit Bergerac, the Château Monbazillac, the Dordogne loops near Trémolat (Cingle de Trémolat), the Panoramic Garden in Limeuil, Monpazier, and many more. I was skeptical about the possibility of really getting into holiday mode within just one week, but the switch was instantaneous with Dan and Iwona's warm welcome and the calm and wonderful context! The place is the perfect location for a completely relaxing and easygoing holiday by the pool with visits to Lalinde or a more active holiday with cycling along the Lalinde canal and the many possible sites and villages around. Thanks to Dan and Iwona for their availability and for making our week at their gîte a wonderful time!

The owners are very friendly and there dog Bum Bum was the best friend for our children,they loved playing with him. The house is really beautiful. I honestly can't think of one thing that wasn't good. We would really recommend this house to other people. 10/10 for use
