A lovely gite in a tranquil setting
We had an excellent experience at Peace in France. Offering plenty of peace and quiet within its beautiful setting whilst having plenty to do along the River Dordogne and surrounding area. Dan and Iwona clearly take great pride in their property and their friendly and helpful approach made us feel more than welcome.

Peace and tranquillity
If you are looking for a little bit of France to unwind, relax and forget the world is going round this place is for you. Great hosts, nothing ever to much trouble, lovely pool and areas to relax. The beauty of the Dordogne is on your doorstep but a car is a must to see all the wonderful places.

Amazing Stay!
My husband and I have just spent 11 nights here in the 1 bedroom gite. We were looking for a totally chilled, relaxing holiday and this place didn't dissapoint. Daniel and Iwona made us feel really welcome as soon as we arrived. We were shown around the gite and grounds and everything was explained to us. The location is absolutely beautiful, not too far away from places to visit, but just so peaceful and quiet. If we needed anything or had any questions Daniel was straight on it. We plan to return to France in the future and this is the place that we'll definately be staying at again! We would highly recommend it to anybody.

Très bon séjour
Après l'accueil très chaleureux de Dan et Iwona, nous avons découvert le beau gîte ainsi que le jardin magnifique. Nous avons eu également la visite d'une biche 😄 le second soir. Très bon séjour reposant dans une magnifique propriété. La région est riche en activités, balades, une belle piste cyclable le long du canal de Lalinde puis de la Dordogne jusque Bergerac est à faire absolument. Nous recommandons ce gîte.

Wonderful peaceful location
We had a great stay in a beautiful, peaceful location. Dan & Iwona were great hosts offering suggestions of restaurants and places to visit without being at all intrusive. The gite was very well equiped and the welcome pack was very good especially after a long drive. I would highly reccomend the gite.

Friendly neat and quiet
We’ve enjoyed a nice and relaxing weekend. Dan & Iwona were really welcoming and also discret. Their dog was really friendly with our. Beautiful garden, nice swimming pool, awesome bathroom. We felt like at home and even more. Highly recommend this stay.

Nous avons passé une merveilleuse semaine chez Dan et Iwona, le jardin est absolument fabuleux calme et très bien agencé. Nous avons pu rayonner et visiter le Périgord et nous reposer au calme dans leur magnifique propriété. La piscine est très appréciable après une belle journée de visite. Vacances detente loisirs et decouverte
Nous avons ete tres bien accueillis dans un cadre magnifique en accord avec la nature, un lieux de detente. Le logement est un vrai petit nid douillet et amenage avec gout. La piscine a ete un plus pour apprecie aussi un endroit de detente et relaxation apres des journees de visites et de chaleur. Les proprietaires sont tres avenants et chaleureux et de tres bons conseils pour decouvrir la region.

Peaceful relaxed stay
The gite was beautifully done with a large comfortable bed, very big shower room with large walk in shower. The gardens were extensive and well maintained and our hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. Dan had given me brilliant directions which is just as well as our sat nav lady was very confused!! Sorry I took some brochures home with me (forgot they were in the van), Would recommend to anyone who loves comfort, peace & quiet and lovely scenery. Thank you.

Wonderful accommodation which was really well equipped. The grounds and gardens are beautiful and sitting in the evening looking at the view was a particular highlight. Couldn't have been better.
Had the most fab two weeks at Dan and Iwona's gite. Spacious, clean and well equipped. Rural France at its best. Pool area and garden are a real treat after a day sight-seeing. Dan and Iwona have got this right.

Wonderful, tranquil countryside escape
Dan and Iwona have a beautiful home, with a five-acre garden and this fantastic gite. Everything was clean and new, from the furniture to the decor, and there were thoughtful touches such as fresh food supplied on arrival and plenty of towels and essentials such as washing powder. There was another gite next door but we had sufficient privacy, including our own section of garden. The nearest town, Lalinde, is 5km away and has all the shops we needed, and there are many beautiful villages nearby that Dan and Iwona can advise you about. Highly recommended and probably the best gite we’ve stayed in during our trips to France. Thanks again to both of you for being such great hosts!
