Excellent stay as always

This trip was not our 1st time to the small town of Lovina. And we always choose Rumah Senja as we need the peace and quiet after hectic days down south of Bali. Henny and Ketut are as kind and nice as always, pampered us with welcome snack and cold soda drink on our arrival, which js very much appreciated!

Amazing place, amazing services!! Collaborate with mbak Henny if you want to do around Lovina. She’s amazing!!!! She cooked, arranged everything very well. Well organized and knowledgeable. I was with my 17 years old son and he enjoyed everything about Lovina stayed. We had dolphins tour that Henny arranged for us. We saw lots of Dolphins. Monkeys in our backyard. All nature views are worth it.

Words cannot even express the beauty of this villa! Everything about this villa will exceed your expectations. If you are thinking of staying in Lovina on your trip to Bali, this is the best place to stay! Do not miss out on the opportunity to stay here! Our only regret in our trip to Bali was not staying at this villa for longer!! Upon arrival we were greeted by Henny and Ketut. Henny prepared a delicious welcome meal for us. Each day, Henny and Ketut worked to keep the villa beautiful and us well fed! Henny goes above and beyond for all guests and it shows. She helped organize transportation into town, made us a daily breakfast with fresh fruit juices, and made us reservations for dinner. Henny is a gem and her dedication to her guests make this villa unlike any other. The villa itself was stunning! The view from the villa is unmatched. It is a perfect place to watch the sunrise and sunset. The pool was big and refreshing. Once you arrive at the villa, you won’t ever want to leave. The villa has plenty of space to spend time indoors and outdoors. The villa has monkeys and cats in the neighborhood. Both of which are friendly and were welcomed visitors each day.

I am a new loyal customer

my friend took me here and i was amazed with how Henny and Ketut took care of us. We received delicious free welcome meal upon arrival, we were quite hungry after the long trip we took so it was well accepted! the bed was comfy, heard it was just recently changed. Everything was clean. Washing machine was also a big help as we had some load we needed cleaning. superb stay! Highly recommended!

Splendid stay

We used this holiday rental prior 2019 and was pleasant stay. We booked it again this trip and the service is consistently extraordinary. Henny and Ketut always go out of their way to make you feel so welcomed. We arrived to a freshly made early dinner and fresh fruit juice, so we could rest well after a road trip!

Séjour très agréable dans cette villa ! Henny et Ketut sont charmants et très serviables. La cuisine de Henny est délicieuse et nous avons bien apprécié! La vue sur le coucher de soleil est extraordinaire et on peut le contempler tout en étant dans la piscine ! La villa est dans les hauteurs de Lovina, loin du bruit. Pour se déplacer, nous pouvions soit réserver par l’intermédiaire de Henny une voiture, soit pour un court trajet se faire transporter par Henny. Quelques singes ont fait leur apparition; ce qui a rajouté au dépaysement total.

Perfect in every way!

We spent four weeks in Bali this trip. Each week at a different villa in different cities. This was by far our favorite. It is as beautiful as the pictures and the location is quiet, secluded, and beautiful. The caretakers, Henny & Ketut, do exactly that...take care of the place (and the guests) with love, devotion, and an amazing work ethic. Henny prepared beautiful meals for us and even accommodated my daughter's picky preferences. She's not much of a experimental eater and Henny made her some fantastic Western options. She is well connected in the area as well and can set up just about anything you need. I would absolutely stay at this villa again. Not only because it was beautiful, but just to get to spend some more time with Henny. She made our last week more than we could have hoped for. There were three of us but the villa easily can accommodate more with still plenty of room. It's up to date, clean, spacious, and has just about everything you need available. I highly recommend a stay at Rumah Senja.

A really nice place to stay

We stayed at villa Rumah Senja for 7 days. It was our first travel in Bali and we were so happy to come here. Henny and Ketut are very kind and Henny is a very good cooker. This place is very quiet and relaxing. We rent the villa’s motorbike so we could visit around. Each day was really great. We recommand to go there, you will enjoy everythings !

Everything was done perfectly. From our request for pick up service at the airport to the dinner meal prepared for us, to the next day breakfast and dolphin tour booking! Our 2nd stay here, we loved trekking the jungle behind the villa in morning too.. Many shy wild monkeys, totally different behaviors with monkeys found in Ubud forest. The monkeys behind the villa are shy, and keep themselves at the perimeters.. never enter even the gazebo or terrace..

large villa for 2 person stay!

the villa is big for 2 persons to stay, it has 3 bedrooms; 1 of the bedroom is big enough for 3 adults with ensuite bathroom; 2 of the bedrooms share a large balcony, 1 shower room and separate WC room. After we looked at all the rooms we chose the 1 of the bedrooms with the shared balcony as we could do our internet surfing while at the balcony. The villa is well furnished, and the kitchen is very complete. The wifi is very strong every where in the villa, even when we're out in the gazebo. As our stay was short, we didn't bother with groceries shopping, we asked Henny to make us a meal plan, and she did that with reasonable prices that includes salad, main meal, fresh fruits and fresh fruit juice according to what we like. Food is way better than off the road food stalls we had, comparable to restaurant food. Henny showed us what she bought from the market, fresh prawns and veggies!

This villa is of decent size, 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms with good sized swimming pool and living room downstairs. We chose 1 of the bedrooms in the main building. All the bedrooms are on 2nd floor, accessible by staircase. The bed was very comfy, the aircon is cold, and there was even a ceiling fan. There was a safe box with plenty of space to use for both of us. The Wi-Fi was very strong, maybe cos it's only used by us, not sharing with other villas. You can access the Wi-Fi anywhere in the property, even when we were in the gazebo. There is a flat screen TV connected to the cable but we hardly watched TV so unsure what's there. We loved the view and the service very much! Henny is a very good cook. We could ask her to cook any meals, and she would give us a complete meal set price which includes main meal, some sort of salad depending on what the main meal is, fruits for dessert and fresh fruit juice. The portion were all good size and we had leftovers too, which Henny would whip the morning to accompany our breakfast. Excellent service, excellent villa.

Nice view! Excellent villa!

We loved our stay! Best villa we ever booked. From the communication with owner prior arrival, to arrangement of all our requested meals and tour, till the day we departed. The view is amazing, pictures cannot do justice. The pool is clean and new, kitchen equipment is complete, we dont need to bring in anything except our clothes. Nice linens and towels close to 4-5* hotel standard. We only cooked once cos Henny's food is amazing.. We just asked her to make us a meal plan and she gave us a package price, very generous amount too.. Our kids with bottomless stomach were satisfied :D We will definetely want to stay here again if we come to the North of Bali in future

Looks like the villa is furnished for a home.. a lot of area to just lay down to read books or napping! Very very relaxing, pool was also fantastic. We didnt go out during our stay. We asked the caretaker to prepare our meals ao we could just relax.

Dreamy sunset and quiet peaceful home

This villa is very special. The location feels secluded yet within few minutes on motorbike you can reach many places of interests like beach club, restaurants, shops, the dolphin statue, hotspring etc. The walking distance fall is Sing Sing waterfall but now is dry season so we couldnt see it. We went to Sambangan secret garden instead which is about 35 minutes ride. Pool was excellent, beds were all comfy, modern bathroom and excellent meals that Henny prepared for us as we requested. She also helped us stock the fridge. Will come back !
