"My wife and I had a wonderful time at this property. It is exactly as listed and the views are simply stunning. The best day of the trip was the day we snowshoed around the property with the snowshoes provided. There is a clearly marked trail through the woods and a map of all the trails in the house. The house is well insulated and the wood burning stove is easy to use. Plenty of pots and pans so we cooked every meal in the house. We will definitely be coming back to see other seasons. "

"This property was great for our snowmobiling trip. There is ample parking for three trucks and snowmobile trailers. The porch area is heated and was a wonderful spot for all our gear. The kitchen was fully stocked for all our cooking needs and the dining and living rooms were large enough to lounge and play cards. The beds were very comfortable, the bathrooms had plenty of towels, and most importantly, the entire house was spotless. Jodi responded to all our questions promptly and forwarded...

"This place is awesome for larger groups. We came to ski and sightsee in the Keweenaw. This was a return trip the Canal View house and we look forward to returning in the future.Everything about the accommodations is as good as you could ever hope to find. There are relaxing social spaces, sweeping views, a perfectly stocked kitchen, and plenty of sleeping space.If you are looking for a very nice place at a great price, this is the one to book! "The cabin worked out great for our group of 4 adults. The cabin is new and very well done. It was wonderful to have the wood stove to warm up after a long day on the trail. If there is good snow amount a person can easily navigate a snowmobile right from the cabin to the main trail system. Would highly recommend and hope to be back. "
