"We loved our short break at Gregory View. The cottage was spotless and well equipped. We were warm and cosy and loved the layout and decor. The cottage is moments from the centre of the village, but with walks out onto the Dales from the doorstep. Would highly recommend and would happily return. "

He sounded confused but raised no issue, so I got on with my day. Received a text after 10.30 to say the property was not available! Apparently vrbo had not coordinated the availability. Host offered to book us into a local hotel…. Not ideal as we could have done that ourselves (and chosen a better hotel) but we had plans with friends and dinner...
